The Gym

You find your way to the gym, deciding maybe there was a reason the Meowstics had been going on for seemingly so long and that the park was too flammable. You go in and find a machine that holds a sheet of what looks like paper, but regenerates after you burn it. It gives you the time it took you to burn it, hopefully this will help you evolve into a powerful Typhlosion.

After 30 minutes of breathing fire, you're panting. You take a moment to look around while you recover, a Cinderace catches your eyes and you catch theirs moments later. They make their way to you.

"Hey, could you help me work out my legs?" they inquired.
