Sammy's advice

You see genuine concern in Sammy's eyes. She puts a hand on your hand.

Sammy : "Alex, I've been where you are. This is going to be hard to hear but there's only one way out of this."

She's looking straight into your eyes. Maybe it's having another of the only two people that know give you the same insane advice but tears of frustration are starting to come to your eyes. You feel like no one is listening to you.

Sammy : "You poor thing. It's going to be ok sweety "

She pulls a card out of her purse and hands it to you.

Sammy : "Here's my phone number. Nothing I can say is going to make this next part any easier on you, but know that it gets much better. I'll be here when you need me and I could use a friend like you."

With that she gets up and walks out of the bar.
