Amy speaks to Christian in the shower

As Christian steps into the shower and turns the nozzle, sticking his hand out until it feels like the right temperature, Amy slips out of her bikini and checks herself in the mirror, making sure she still looks good before slipping through the glass door to join her boyfriend, the both of them naked.

"Hey there babe" he smiles, bringing her into a soft kiss as the water hits the right heat and covers them in a warm stream. They spend a few moments like that, tasting each other's lips as they had done a hundred times before, until it comes to an end and Amy steps in front of Christian, leaning her head back as the water cascades down the front of her body.

"Why'd you have to bring up Troy earlier?" the blonde girl questions, looking over her shoulder with a frown as Christian sighs and rubs his temple,

"I dunno. I just got frustrated, it's hard watching Dani get with so many decent guys, only to snub them because of what happened with that jerkoff." he explains,

"I know, believe me few people hate him more than me, he fucked over my best friend. But you know the more you remind Dani of all of that, the longer it's going to take her to move on right?" she sighs,

Christian furrows his brow for a moment, "I don't think I agree. I think the fact she doesn't face it and process it properly is why she has those habits. You and I both know that hooking up like she does, doesn't make her happy. I mean, forget the last few months for a bit, don't you remember how ecstatic she was when she and Troy first got together? I mean the girl was practically glowing every time we saw her."

"I remember, but I also remember how much damage he did to her. Maybe she's scared of reaching those highs again because she thinks it'll go the same way?" Amy guesses,

"Yeah, I guess. I don't blame her for any of that, it's understandable, but she can't hang onto that baggage forever right? I mean what happens in five years if she's still just bouncing from one guy to another?"

Amy shrugs, "Then I guess that's what she'll do. Sure, maybe she's not as happy as she could be in theory, but she's definitely happier than she would be if she kept leaping into things and getting her heart broken every time, or worse, ending up in another toxic relationship."

Christian considers it for a moment. Dani and Michael were on opposite ends of the spectrum it seemed. Both of them scarred by previous relationships, though while one of them always seeks new ones and gets his heart stomped on, the other refuses to get into relationships and is currently cruising in an emotional limbo. Part of him hopes that there might be a chance they could cancel each other out, maybe strike up something healthy together, but there's nothing he can do to make that happen, and so he relents.

"Either way, I'll keep a lid on it from now on, Troy's name will stay out of my mouth after tonight" he agrees,

"Thank you" Amy says softly, turning to kiss him again with a light smile, gently ruffling his short black hair with her fingers before they swap places and Christian rinses himself off.

"If nothing else though, they'd make a cute pair." he observes with a soft chuckle,

"Oh are you kidding me? They'd be totally hot together" Amy laughs, running her hands up and down her boyfriend's back to help him wash. "I don't know exactly what his type is, but he's definitely her type... I mean shit he's probably most people's type."

"Do I need to start upping my game? You're sounding a little wistful back there" he says teasing, receiving a light smack on his shoulder for his effort,

"Quiet you, just saying things how I see them."

The two laugh together for a few moments, Amy thinking quietly to herself that yeah, Mike is a good looking guy. Her relationship with Christian notwithstanding he's probably the type of guy she'd hit on at a party or something of the sort. She catches herself dwelling for a moment, on how that first conversation might go, but before she slips into a full blown mental image she snaps out of it and compensates by pressing her large chest up against Christian.

"Sooo... think we have a little time before dinner?" she says seductively, shifting her hand around the curve of his waist towards his crotch, but is surprised when Christian holds it still,

"I wish, but Kate needs a shower after us remember? Don't want to keep her waiting, it'll hold everyone else up too." he replies apologetically,

"Oh. Alright then." Amy says quietly, withdrawing her hand.
