Chapter 6 by OverwatchDva OverwatchDva

The next morning

Faelith wakes up

The next morning, Faelith awoke feeling great. The mattress was so comfortable, she almost didn't want to get up. The night had gone by quickly and without any real excitement or noise. The building was truly quiet. She could get used to this. After going through her daily morning rituals, she went to the wardrobe to put on her gear.

"Where the hell is my stuff?!" Faelith saw that all her equipment had been stolen. Her sword was missing along with all her clothes. Frustrated, she scrambled around the room, searching under the bed and everywhere else for her belongings, but it was all gone.

"That's great, so damn great," she muttered under her breath.

Sighing, she pulled the satin sheet off the bed and wrapped it around her body. The sun had risen quite a bit so it must have been close to noon. She found a bell on one of the small bedside tables to call Eni.

After a few rings, Eni answered with a cheery voice. "Goodmorning, Miss Faelith! How may I—"

Eni's greeting was interrupted by a string of curses from the elf. "Someone has stolen my stuff!" Faelith was fuming. Her mission, her orders, her responsibility, everything was in danger. The culprit might be anyone, anyone who could have slipped in and robbed her. Faelith knew that there were master thieves living in the area, and it was possible they had come during the night, when she was sleeping.

"Wait, seriously? What was stolen?" Eni asked in disbelief.

"Everything!" Faelith was now fully naked except for the pink satin sheet she was wearing. "Even..." Faelith just realized. She had never paid Eni for the room. "...even my money..."

"Oh no. I'm... I'm so sorry." The barmaid sounded genuinely apologetic and sad. "If you need I do have a spare uniform that you could wear in the meantime. Wait for me at the bar and I'll get to you as soon as I can." Eni ended the call before Faelith could reply.

Faelith took a deep breath and calmed herself down. "Okay. I can do this," she told herself. This wasn't the end of the world, it just meant she'd have to redouble her efforts to bring the guards back on her side.

Faelith arrived downstairs to find Eni waiting for her at the bar. Along with a packed lobby and bar. Nearly two dozen people were watching her. All eyes were on her body, especially her tits and ass. It was hard to ignore their perverted stares, but she focused on the girl and pushed past them. "There you are, I have something for you to wear." Eni held up a black barmaid's dress. It looked slightly longer than the one she usually wore. "I think you'll like it."

"Great, thanks. I really appreciate it, Eni." Faelith took the dress and returned to her room. It wasn't Faelith's choice in colors and style but she had no options. As she quickly dropped the sheet from her body, she placed her arms into the sleeves of the dress and pulled it up. It did not fit at all! The sleeves were a bit too tight on her arms and the top did little to cover her breasts and most of her shoulders were exposed. Her ass was too large for the skirt and showed a considerable amount of cheek when she walked.

"Fuck," she sighed. There was nothing she could do for now except hope that her normal clothes would be returned. Faelith exited her room and found Eni waiting for her at the bar. She flashed a nervous smile, not sure what to expect. The room had froze. All eyes were on Faelith again. One of the men dropped his drink out of awe and nobody said a word.

Eni clapped her hands excitedly. "Oh my god! You look so adorable in that. Just... wow! Okay, right. So, first order of business..." She waved at one of the bar stools. "Have a seat."

Faelith rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. This was ridiculous and demeaning, she had ****. She slid onto the bar stool, crossing her legs together. Eni disappeared through a door to the back and returned moments later with a plate of food. "Here, breakfast. On me."

Faelith's eyes widened and her stomach growled. The smell made her mouth water. "Thank you, Eni." She grabbed the fork and knife. While she ate, Eni told Faelith where to find the guard headquarters to file a stolen items report. When she was finished eating, she looked around and took a moment to compose herself. "Okay. Let's go." Faelith stood up, thanked Eni, and started moving towards the entrance.

The town was rather busy today. Many of the people she passed by gave her curious and vulgar stares. Faelith ignored them. The guardhouse was on the same street as the mayor's mansion, only a street away. She entered to find no one, save for one person, around. The only guard she could see was Guardsman Oggars, the young man she had met at the town gate. He was currently passed out at the welcoming desk, a quill in hand.

"Guardsman Oggars..." Faelith nudged the man's head but got no reaction. She checked to see if he was alive and his steady breathing assured that he was. "Damn it, wake up!" Faelith grabbed his shoulder and shook him with little success. She glanced around the room. The guardsman jumped out of his seat as a pitcher of water was poured onto his head.

"Aaaaaaugh!!" He coughed. "WHAT IS IT?! ARE WE UNDER ATTACK?!"

"My things were stolen last night," The elf said. Her arms were crossed and her expression was sour. "I would like you to do something about that."

Oggars gawked at Faelith. It took him a few seconds to realize what was going on. "Um... Oh! I'm very sorry, miss. Y-yeah, I'll find the guys who took your stuff. He grabbed some dry pieces of paper and readied himself to write. "Can you give me a description of who took it?"

"I don't know what they looked like. They did it while I was asleep."

"Okay, then what did they take?" He put his quill to the paper.

"All of my possessions: clothes, gold, equipment...." Faelith listed off everything she could remember. "Plus my weapon. It's big and shaped like an elven sword but longer. It had runes carved down it's blade."

Oggars blinked a few times, still mesmerized by Faelith's body. "And... uh... how much gold are we talking about? Ten? Twenty gold?"

"A thousand."

The two stared at each other in silence. "Come again?"

"I said that I was robbed of a thousand gold last night," she stated curtly.

"A... Thousand... GOLD?!" He shouted in disbelief. "Do you just carry around a thousand gold with you all the time??"

"I was here on official business from the Goldleaf Order," Faelith explained sternly. "The amount of gold was to fund my stay here for the next few weeks while I help restore order and return this town to normal."

Oggars scratched his head and let out a heavy sigh. "Okay, look, this whole town is dealing with some tough shit. I have a backlog of reports I need to go through and investigations to do but at the moment, I can't get to all of them. There are only a few guards left. Two of them are part-timers who are tending to what little crops in the fields are left, I'm stuck here all day, and grandpa..." He looked over at a jail cell where the old man from the day before was sleeping on a cot.

Faelith sighed and rubbed her temple. This was starting to become a bigger pain than she expected. Her gaze fell to the ground as she pondered what to do next. Without saying anything, Faelith stood up and sat down a nearby desk that had a stack of reports on it. She cleaned up the area as best she could and began reading and filing the documents. Oggars didn't say anything. The two worked in silence. It seemed like the reports went on forever. There was no organization to them, no order. Things were mixed and written out of turn. The guardsman likely didn't even notice or care as long as it could be filed away. Eventually, Faelith was able to sort the first stack. Most of it could be thrown away as they were reports from weeks, if not months ago.

The rest would need to be re-written. The first few reports were mundane as could be. Someone who thought they heard something but saw nothing. Multiple reports from people being unable to find their dog. Faelith looked up at Oggars who was struggling to stay awake. "Come here," She ordered and pulled up a chair next to her. "When you organize reports they should be in order of time and significance. The most pressing ones should take place, those will be the ones we need to investigate."

He nodded. "Makes sense."

"These ones from three months ago can either be trashed or put into storage. Anything like ****, theft over a certain amount, or any forms of trafficking, should go to the top." She handed him the second stack of papers she had sorted, a quarter of the original. "Once this has been sorted, we can file the reports."

Oggars scribbled away at a sheet. Faelith looked over his shoulder to correct the spelling errors and lack of details. Time passed quickly in the office. Faelith coached the boy on the organization of reports and how to search for keywords in the description section that would need attention. It was rewarding to see him work and see how well he grasped concepts after learning them.

"Alright, then we need to sort these according to locations."

"Um, Miss Faelith, not to be a bother but can I go home? It's already dark out."

She looked out a window to see he was correct. "Oh, I lost track of time. Why don't you go home and I'll finish up here."

Oggars looked relieved. "Thank you, and thanks for the help today. I think I'm getting the hang of this." He bowed his head to Faelith and took his leave.

As soon as the door closed, Faelith put her head on the desk. She had been so into the reports she hadn't spent any time trying to find her stuff! But with the reports organized, her own mission could move forward. Now that she thought of it, her stomach growled loudly. She knew Eni would have a meal for her so she immediately headed to the inn. She arrived back at 'The Inn At the Edge' full of hungry anticipation. However, what awaited her inside wasn't what she expected.

Through a window, Faelith could see that the front lobby, though still vacant for the most part, was a hell of a sight to see. What looked like an orc was pounding Eni on the bar top. His girthy green cock was plunging deeply into her cunt. The barmaid wasn't resisting but moaning pleasurably. Her vagina clamped onto his cock, milking him every time he entered. Her tits bounced as she raised and lowered her pussy onto the orc's dick. "Ahhh!" Eni cried out with delight. "Harder! Harder!!" Her juices were flowing down the orc's massive balls.

The orc slammed into Eni a few more times before coating her womb and tits with his sticky seed. The barmaid cried out again, cumming on his pulsating cock. Her fingers wrapped around the desk's edge and she leaned backwards. The orc pulled out from Eni and put a stack of coins on the counter. Eni, still recovering from her orgasm, was catching her breath as the orc put on a cloak and left through a backdoor.

Faelith waited until Eni left the lobby to enter. She took a seat at the bar, away from the escapades. "Just a minute!" Eni called from the back. A minute later she returned. Her clothes were back on but she had a drunk expression on her face. "What's up, girlie?"

"Is it too late for me to get a plate for dinner?"

"Hmm..." Eni checked the clock and then nodded. "Not a problem, hang tight. Let me run and get it from the kitchen. I'll bring some strong ale while you wait, my treat."

Eni disappeared into the back. Faelith took the moment to try to formulate her plan for tomorrow. All the guardsmen were gone and the few that remained were of no use. For some reason her mission had become to reorganize the city into an acceptable form. Before she could get too deep into her thoughts, the serving girl returned with a platter filled with smoked sausage, several mounds of steaming vegetables, and three large steaks, all slathered with brown sauce.

"Thank you," Faelith.

"Oh, no problem. You get that all finished today?"

"Unfortunately not. I got sidetracked."

Faelith went into detail of how the paperwork at the guards' headquarters was backlogged and there were only two guards. One was an elderly man who did not seem like he could offer any help. The other was a young man who could barely be called a man. Faelith spent some time venting to the barmaid of her frustration and getting sidetracked and how time seemed to fly. Before she knew it, hours had passed.

By the time she'd finished eating, the moon high in the sky and she had gone through several mugs of ale. The now buzzed elf thanked Eni for listening to her go on and on before retiring for the night.
