"What On Earth ?"

After her exasperation at Max and Stanford had led to her defiant naked stance, Debbi did not think it was worth bothering with the awkward ENF posture any more unless they encountered anyone else on the path, which as luck would have it they did not.

Thus it was that it was a deceptively casual looking Debbi that strolled back in to the camp, naked between the two men. "What on earth ?" Charlotte exclaimed angrily. "Someone stole Debbi's clothes, that's why she was taking so long" Max explained. "You could at least have wrapped a towel around yourself" Charlotte accused Debbi. "Oh yeah, of course, silly me, why didn't I think of that ?" Debbi answered sarcastically before adding, "They bloody stole the towel as well !"

"Then you should have come back here to get a towel for her." Charlotte turned her wrath onto Max. "We were concerned about the pumas" Max answered lamely. "Oh for crying out loud !" exclaimed Charlotte.

"Deb, I'm so sorry" Carol cut into the conversation. "I saw this gang of teenage girls hanging around and giggling when I left you but I didn't think anything of it. They must have taken your stuff as a prank. Did you notice them ?" she asked Max. "Afraid not, they must have gone" he replied. "Anyway, what's Stanford doing here ?" Carol had just noticed the presence of their creepy business rival, who had been taking advantage of all the distractions to take several more photos of Debbi. "Oh, we met him on the trail and he was helping us keep watch for pumas, so I thought the least we could do would be to offer him some of our supper" said Max. "If it's no trouble ?" Stanford added ingratiatingly. Nobody but Max wanted Stanford there but it seemed too rude to kick him out.

Meanwhile, Charlotte was reaching boiling point. "Are you going to just stand there all night parading in front of my boyfriend and showing everyone your bits ?" she yelled at Debbi. "For god's sake go and get dressed !"

"That's just the bloody point" Debbi exploded in turn. "Travel light you all said. You won't need much at all for the weekend you all said. My stuff keeps disappearing and now all I've got to wear for the rest of the weekend is a spare pair of knickers !"

Charlotte was unsympathetic. "Well at least go and put those on" she cried. Stanford hastily brought up his camera to capture a money shot of Debbi turning and bending to enter her tent !
