A buzzing..

The sound of insect wings approaches, but they sound much louder than just a small insect. She rolls onto her side in the direction she picked up the disturbance, but quickly attempts to get up off her feet.

Approaching her is a ginormous insect, an extremely oversized botfly to be exact. She estimates its body to be about 1 meter and it's wingspan about 2 (a door).

It buzzes back and forth and side to side as if to speak the source of a scent.. it must be seeking her. She draws her blade and she knows she'll have to fight it off even in her pregnant state..

• ENCOUNTER Niery 18 > Botfly 8.

Niery takes a slash at the creature [4+1+2*]
The botfly attempts to dodge [16+4 = 18+2] But niery's blade connects BLOCK: [17+5] [7 armour]
Niery's blade pierces through the botflys thick exoskeleton *2 Penetration. Dealing a small wound.

• Botfly: 4/6 hp 3/4 Stamina

The fly starts to move in an [Hypnotic pattern] captivating the fox [Wisdom 11+1 < DC 14]. Niery completely forgets they are fighting..

The fly bashes against her but niery successfully absorbs the impact and keeps her footing.
[4+4 < 19+3] Block 3. 1 damage.

Niery immidatly lashes out with the Khopesh [4+2+*2] the fly attemts to dodge [11+4<18+2] but fails to do so in time. [15+5] = [18+2] BLOCK 7 *2 penetration damage.

• Blotfly 2/6 hp 2/4 Stamina.

The wings flutter and pick up speed, she feels it becoming harder to hold her stance when the fly uses [Windgust] [Dex save 14] [19+2] but it's not enough to swipe her off her feet allowing her to attack again but the botfly manages to avoid being hit.
[3+5+*2] [18+4 > 12+2] Dodge!

The fly doesn't do anything but Niery finds it's gaze almost [Nauciating Gaze]. [Con DC 14] [Natural 1]

She feels like throwing up, attacking the creature without throwing up seems impossible but she knows she has to keep fighting.. She takes a step and hard swallow as some of the stomach acid singes her throat. She takes a swing DISADVANTAGE: [4+3+*2] [19+4 > NAT 20 & 2+2] but the fly easily avoids her weakened posture and swing.

It resumes to fly in a [hypnotic pattern] [DC 14 > 11+1] and together but Niery has to hold herself together before even considering an attack, the way it flys makes her sick to the stomach.

It attempts to [Bash 3+2] her again [17+4 > 11+2] [Natural 1] > LUCK ROLL > [4+2] (no block). And knocks the wind out of her. She manages to avoid knocking her head on the stone just to see the fly buzzing over her..
