Well, not for all that long.

As the Ladies came up to you, Rei and Douma got up with a slight grin that you almost didn't notice, before getting out of the room, which confused you. After all, you weren't used to see them just get out of somewhere just because the Ladies got there, and Allit didn't even move, still hugging you tightly, until you pushed her a bit, as she was starting to hug you with a touch too much strength.

Sensing your confusion, Lady Melda explained.

"We told Rei and Douma that when you would wake up, we will look after you for a while, to let them rest and relax. You have no idea how much we argued over this simple subject, since they absolutely wanted to be there when you would eventually wake up. So we decided on letting them look after you and explain to you what happened as you were ****, before we come along and take care of you, as we should have done a while ago."

"After all, no master should let their student overexert themselves." Added Lady Kogai, before she took Allit by the base of the neck to bring her out of the room, as she fiercely struggled to get out of her grasp, which made you giggle, because she was unable to get Lady Kogai to even release her grip on her neck a bit.

When Lady Kogai managed to put down Allit out of the room without her rushing in again, because she was so **** to be with her master, as it seems, she closed the door, before finally coming back besides you, sitting on the side of the bed as she said.

"It seems like your body adapted quite well to the rune we put on you. We are very lucky that you did not reject it, knowing that your body is not from this world."

At any point in the past, if she would have said that to you after you confessed to Rei and Douma, you would have asked how they knew that, but the combination of them randomly appearing at your doorstep and the fact that Lady Melda was an elf made it obvious that you would not have hidden it from them much longer. So you shrugged, replying.

"Guess I can't hide it. And yeah, I'm quite lucky that my body accepted the rune, I guess..."

You would have added something, but when Lady Melda put an hand on your torso, right at the spot where the rune is, before warmth spread through your body, you shut your mouth completely. The feeling running through your body was really nice to you, and you didn't even feel anything when Lady Melda retrieved her hand, holding the rune inside of it.

"It seems like you were fully healed, thank the gods... Well, not all of them, if we believe in your words about the God of Chaos and the God of Balance."

Hearing those words come from Lady Melda's mouth felt strange, unusual. Maybe it was because she was a Legend, or maybe because she never said a word that would made anyone think that she didn't believe in the gods righteousness, but hearing her say that some gods should not be thanked was something you would never think about hearing coming out of her mouth.

Another thing you would never think about hearing coming out from one of the Ladies mouth was the following words, that Lady Kogai said.

"Now, I think it is time for your long-awaited reward. Just show us what is hidden in there."
