Revelation

Shalonda and Sarah sat side by side at the doctors office, holding hands. They'd taken the genetic test, waited the weeks, and the answer was finally upon them. They looked expectantly at the doctor.

"Well," the doctor said, clearing his throat. "The test came back. You are identical twins."

It was surprising news, but not shocking. But someone had some explaining to do. Two someones, to be precise.
