"Please... not now."

The Koopa looks a bit surprised for a moment, probably at how close you sound to breaking down completely despite, well, not exactly being a stranger to the circumstance of being his captive. After recovering from the shock, he lets out a growl, and you can feel his face contorting into a glare as he leans close to you, grip tightening.

"You are mine. Got it?"

You respond with a barely perceptible nod, keeping your head down. After a few more seconds, he grunts, loosening his grip and leaning back. His massive clawed hand remains nonchalantly on your thigh as the carriage winds through the hills, but Bowser goes no further. After some time, you finally build up the courage to turn your head to look out the window. The land is slowly getting drier and steeper, and as the cart comes to a stop in a dusty village, you suddenly realize where you are- Moleville, a mining town not too far from the usually-chaotic border with the Koopa Kingdom. They'd been hit especially hard by the repeated invasions Bowser had launched, something he seems to care little about as he steps out of the carriage and draws a long, relaxed breath of cool evening air. The Koopa turns to you and motions for you to follow.

The mole people of the town stare as Bowser leads you into one of the shacks, a slightly nicer-looking one with a sign that reads 'Inn', turning his hefty body to the mole lady behind the counter with a flash of teeth.

"One room."

Your pulse goes up as she frantically complies, understanding what is doubtless coming up next, and soon he is leading you again, this time into a small room with a single, uncomfortable-looking bed. Bowser closes the door behind you, and as you stand frozen in the doorway, makes his way to the bed. He flops onto it, and almost immediately passes out cold. You continue to stand there, blinking a few times in shock.
