Dragon hunting time.

Once again, there was nothing worth speaking about during this travel, which had become the norm for you now. After all, it has been a long while since the last time anything happened in any of your travels, not that you have done many travels thus far.

When you arrived to the location of the quest, you saw a gigantic cavern entrance. It was several meters in height and was very wide too, which made you freeze, as your first thought was a question, to which you weren't really sure if you wanted an answer or not : how big is this dragon ? Seeing the size of the cavern's entrance, you could only guess that it was very big, and surely very powerful, right ? When you glanced at Rei and Douma who were by your side, you noticed that they were frozen too. It was likely that they had the same train of thoughts that you had, and strangely, knowing this comforted you, since you assumed that them having at least a similar train of thought as yours, would only make the teamwork easier.

Yet, the Ladies didn't seem concerned by the size of the cavern entrance at all, simply walking towards the cavern's entrance, while Lady Kogai said to you and the girls.

"The first thing to do is to calm down, everyone. The idea is that the more you panic, the easier it will be for your foes to get you, and it is not hard to know what will happen if they get you."

Well... So much for calming down now that she made you think about what could happen, but you still manage to take a deep breath, slowly calming yourself down by convincing yourself that nothing bad could happen, and if something bad happened, the Ladies would be here to help you. Rei and Douma alos took a deep breath, calming down a little after you did, before the three of you looked at each other, with you nodding to the girls, and you finally started following the Ladies again.

When you entered the cave, both the Ladies pulled a torch out of their bags, before Lady Kogai lighted them up with a simple touch, making it look impressively easy to do. In the meantime, you pulled out both your swords, readying yourself to fight if it was needed, while Rei and Douma were firmly holding their staffs, so firmly in fact that you had to say to Rei when you noticed it.

"You might want to stop gripping your staff so firmly, your fingers are turning white."

Somehow, your words made her realize that you were right, and he let out a deep breath again, before replying, as she stopped gripping so hard her staff.

"Sorry... My nerves are becoming too much of an issue..."

"Don't worry." You gently say, smiling to her. "Everything will be fine, as long as we are together in this."

"He is right." Douma added, much to your surprise as you still wasn't completely used to her not being shy anymore. "Nothing bad can happen as long as we work as a team."

Her words made you notice just how relaxed Douma looked. She was holding her staff firmly, yet you weren't seeing an ounce of fear in her features. She only looked determined, and far calmer than even you were, you might try to ask her for advice about that in the future...

The tense atmosphere followed your party, and only your party, as the Ladies seemed impervious to it, until you reached the end of the cave, which was even bigger than the entrance, but also filled to the brim with gold and valuables. Upon seeing this, Rei's eyes lighted up, and she quickly forgot to be anxious, as she ran to the nearest pile of valuables, before asking the Ladies.

"Hmm... Can you tell me if you have brought a pocket dimension rune with you ?"

This question made Lady Kogai sigh, while Lady Melda laughed a bit. Rei was clearly good at lightening the mood, and it affected you as well. So as Lady Melda pulled out a pocket dimension rune and throwed it at Rei, who managed to catch it without much issues, before starting to empty the cavern of all its valuables, you walked closer to another pile of coins, seeing crowns, golden daggers and weapons, necklaces and other luxurious things inside the pile. This was incredible, but while Douma and even the Ladies got closer to the gold piles, you couldn't stop yourself from thinking that the room was strangely devoid of any life.

When a deafening roar came out from the direction of the cavern's entrance, you immediately regretted thinking about that. Then came something that you didn't expect to hear : a feminine voice asking, in a very angry tone.

"What are you doing here ? I didn't agree to let you steal my treasures like that !"
