What's next?
Raithe
“Dammit... I'm sorry, Kara.” You touched the flowing mass of two Cores within the mind-space that represented the battle the two were having internally. As your intent to help Raithe began to affect the fight, the white slowly crept over the swirling red portions, diminishing them, reducing their light until there was nothing left. It was a bitter ending, and one that was not easy to come to. You felt sick to do it to Kara, but she was only vaguely on your side. More accurately, she was against Raithe while Raithe seemed to support you unconditionally, in a way that Kara would not. More than that, Raithe in both of their memories was just a girl that was pushed to the edge by rejection and fate. It was something you could relate to.
“I'm sorry.” You opened your eyes and stared down at Kara. She stared back at you with empty pupils that reminded you of your mother and sister just before you left as they were waving at you. It made you jump and crawl back from her. Kara continues to just lay down and stare at the ceiling.
“What did I do...”
“You saved me.” Raithe's warm voice filled your ears. Her slender hand rested on your shoulder and hugged you from behind tightly. Her cheek nuzzled into your neck.
“You... Are actually the first one to really choose me. Not only that, you're the most important one that could have, besides mother.” She thought for a moment, seeming to be thinking out loud more than anything.
“She can't have you... No matter what, she can't.”
“What?” You rasped, still recovering from what you just did.
“Can't- what do you mean. Also, what happened to Kara?”
Raithe slid around in front of you and looked you in the eye. She was different. Her silver hair was tinted with red near the tips of her ears and tail. Her silver eyes were still as bright and as strange as ever.
“Before I tell you what happened to her-” You glanced over to Kara. Raithe quickly turned your chin towards her.
“Here... Look here please.” She begged.
“Kara wanted to do to you, what I did to her. It was for our Mother. The woman you saw in the dream. I know that now, after absorbing her.” She stated flatly.
“Ab- She's gone?”
Raithe nodded. “That's right, Hero. I ate the parts of her Core that were Kara, and not all that's left is the body, and some other fragments. I... I learned that my sister was not running from her duties, she was actively carrying them out.” Raithe took in a labored breath, closing her eyes for a moment as she exhaled.
“H-honestly... I thought I was a villain but my real purpose was hidden even from me until now. I was truly meant to save you!”
Your mouth fell open, then closed. “She was priming me to be eaten the same way you ate Kara?” You shuddered and held your head in your hands.
“This whole time!?” You screamed.
“Shh... I'll protect you. I'll never do anything to hurt you or let anything to happen to you because-” As she spoke you glanced up into her eyes, seeing a mad determination. It was a look that showed absolute certainty and resolve.
“Well.” She smiled coyly.
“Can you guess?”
“Because I chose you?” You answered awkwardly. As you said that Raithe slid into your lap and cuddled up against your chest while hugging you. You hesitantly curled one around around her back, and another over her head as if she was a cat that happened to climb into your lap.
Vura, Luire and Heilan assemble around you. “W-wait..” Vura gulpes.
“Is this okay?” She looked between Raithe and Kara.
“Miss Kara is-”
“I think she is probably gone.” You offer in a numb tone while Raithe cuddled into you comfortably.
“I feel strange.” Luire admits.
“It doesn't feel right that- That she is simply gone and now we are accepting this other Fox that tricked us.” He offers.
“I also have some reservations, Raithe.” You pried her from you. She stared up curiously.
“Yes, Hero?”
“What about Djir? You work with him? The Gnolls... Demonkine... How is this going to play out.”
“Djir's aim is to have you and my aim is to have Kara. That was the original deal.” She admitted.
“So does that mean you-”
“I wasn't lying!” She snapped back harshly, baring fangs. You jumped. She sighed and brushed some hair from her face as he expression went back to normal.
“Sorry... What I meant to say is, that plan is no longer valid. Djir can't have you. I don't care anymore about Demonkine. I don't care anymore about the Coven. I don't care about Kara or Coda. I care about you.” She seemed too serious for you to take it as anything except complete honesty.
Before you could respond you heard screams outside. Raithe snarled and began stomping out ahead of you with her fists clenched. You walked out of the Den after her and immediately Saw Jeane dismounting with other mages. The pale woman was sweating heavily, streaking her makeup.
“Jeane?”
“Hero! We were ambushed by Gnolls. Teuta was-” she cracked a little as she approached you, stumbling.
“Teuta was left behind.” She had to stop suddenly as Raithe got between you both. She lifted her chin and stared down her nose at Jeane.
“This girl is... A friend?” Raithe asked pointedly.
“Well... Yes? She's a decent friend.” You blushed, not truly answering. There were things that made you more than just friends, but nothing solid. You raised your hands and pulled Raithe to the side with your hands on her shoulders.
“That's not important right now... What do you mean you left Teuta? The Gnolls ambushed you? Is this all that's left?” You inspected the people that arrived on horseback and saw three more mages. Then, behind all of them, waddling forward was the fat prince. You glared at him.
“That guy survived...”
“My thoughts exactly.” Raithe muttered, crossing her arms.
As you all spoke, your eyes caught movement. Gnolls emerging from the forest to stand just outside the glow that was emanating from the Den's light. You heard a cackle above you and looked to see Djir standing on the roots above the door. He hopped down and looked to you, then to Raithe. His near-permanent grin widened.
“You succeeded?” He clapped excitedly.
“Wonderful!” He began to step towards you. You stepped back, hand on your sword.
“Don't-”
“Don't touch him!” Before you could get the words out Raithe screamed loud enough to startle even the massive Gnoll.
Djir stopped. “This isn't what we talked about.” He said gravely.
“Do you know what you're doing to me right now, Raithe?” When he did not receive an answer he rubbed his eyes in frustration.
“It's up to the Hero.” Raithe claimed comfortably.
“You only say that because you know he wont pick me.” Djir stared at you.
“Hero, I thought this might happen. This girl is gonna cause you a lot of pain while keeping you from not just me. I see the look she has in her eye. I'll make you a special deal. You don't even need to come with me. If you let me take this girl without a fight from you and yours, I'll leave. No other conditions. You and your friends are safe, and you're also safe from her.” He seemed genuine.
Raithe whispered to you. “He is in a tough spot. He can not beat you and I together. He can not beat all of us at all with all of his men. Not now that I have her strength.” You felt uncertain and she noticed it, so she added curiously.
“I wonder what happened to that Knight?”
You looked up. “What did happen to Teuta?”
Djir grimaced. “She's gone.” He pointed to the Prince and reasoned.
“But, that fellow is at fault more than I am, no? You have free reign to do whatever you want to him. I'll even take credit so you don't get in trouble. I'll be glad to.”
The prince shuddered. “Th-there is no way you can take that deal!” He ordered.
You groaned. “I don't like it. I'm not going to do what you want.” You prepared to draw your sword. Before you could Djir stepped back. As he turned around you saw a shield on his back with Teuta embedded into it, ****. You held your chest, grimacing as you hurt just to see that.
“Dammit...”
“I'm sorry, Hero.” She hugged you.
“Nobody told him to do that. He did that because he is cruel. But I will always protect you.” The Gnolls all began to back away and retreat into the woods.
“I thought he would attack, but he decided to preserve his strength instead. So annoying.”
“Unless this is actually what was planned.” Jeane chimed in, soliciting a glare from Raithe. She continued, undeterred.
“Truly. How does it makes that they would win every battle and fight only to stop here short of their goal?” Jeane asked.
Raithe stared at her and simply said. “Because I am very strong now.”
Jeane stepped back. She began to see something that could not be seen by others. “So- so it would seem.”
Raithe settled back into embracing you. Patted her on the head. “What do we do now?”
“We obviously need to return!” The Prince announced.
Raithe whispered in your ear. “Do want to take **** on Djir? To stop the one that had intention of devouring you?”
“Can we trust her?” Heilan asked, hiding within the threshold of the Den.
“She hurt Ms. Kara and betrayed her last ally, too.”
Raithe shook her head. “Djir had influenced that one. She is compromised.” You frown, knowing that to be the case to a certain extent.
“We're trusting Raithe until she gives us a reason not to trust her.” You say.
“You mean more of a reason?” Jeane criticizes.
“Thank you!” Raithe says gratefully. She takes your hand.
“Jeane, let's talk.” You take her hand and lead her into the den leaving Raithe behind.
As Raith was left, she noticed the stares of everyone around her. None of them trusted her. All of them suspected her. Only the Hero was on her side and even he was subject to influence from others. He had bedded many of the women that were present. She saw it through Kara's memory. The Fox even encouraged it, much to Raithe's dismay. In her mind her sister had come close to ruining her Hero. All of the women around were taking part. Raithe looked down, stepping into the den. She pulled the nervous Heilan over to her and whispered in a tone that a Beastfolk could only hear if they were close.
“Do you really think I would betray my Brother?” She offered. Heilan's ears perked.
“Come with me somewhere private while the Hero talks with that mage. We should discuss the details, and your further orders.”
“Okay.” Heilan followed her rather submissively once she mentioned Djir was involved with her still. Once they had made their way down into a private enough location, a separate room deep underground similar to the one Djir pulled Heilan into originally, Raithe turned around on the heel of her bare foot with her cutely painted silver toes and smiled.
“What's this? What are the orders from Djir?”
Raithe stepped closer. “The order from Djir? There is none, you idiot. I don't work with him anymore. I don't want the Hero to be taken by him. I will not let any of his plans involving the Hero succeed.” Heilan turned and was about to run until she heard Raithe laugh. You're thinking that you're going to run up and tell everyone... What? You're completely forgetting that you are the traitor here, not me. The only reason I brought you down here is because he would not approve of my methods, if given the choice. So he will not have it in this case.”
Heilan was still turned as she heard the sounds of Raithe's forest-colored robes dropping to the ground. She turned back slowly only to see the Fox standing proudly with a ten inch cock standing solidly on end between her legs. It looked real. It matched her skin-tone. It lacked a set of balls and seemed to sprout from just above her labia.
“What do you want with me?” Heilan asks.
“I can't have you holding the Hero back, and I can't have you betraying him. I am not like my Sister, I can not stand him being with another.” She let out an exasperated sigh.
“So I will have to take up the burden of seducing this harem of women that he has collected, for his own sake.”
Heilan growled at Raithe, lifting her fists. “You're crazy! You-” Her eyes crossed as Raithe held out her slender white hand, a finger pointing to her nose. Heilan gulped as Raithe closed the distance and booped Heilan's cute nose, then opened her palm and dominantly motioned towards her.
“Here, Doggie.” Heilan was hesitant, but not opposed. Raithe was triggering in her all the instincts that you awakened and Djir triggered. She walked nervously into Raithe's arms. Her cock slid between Heilan's thighs and throbbed. It was jarring to see such a hard and powerful thing on such a beautiful woman.
“Good girl.” Raithe cooed. It was a different kind of dominance. Less hateful and more soothing. Raithe embraced her, kissed her neck, her cheek and licked over Heilan's lips. Just as the Dog was getting comfortable Raithe pulled Heilan into her chest and nipped the girl's ear. Heilan yelped, shuddering.
“Are you going to behave now?”
“Yes Miss...”
“Are you going to go after the Hero?”
“I-”
Raithe sensed hesitation, so she immediately pounced on it. “Not good. Fine, I suppose I will make you love me, instead.” She gripped Heilan by her cheeks, palm on either side. The girl looked up from between Raithe's breast helplessly as the woman stared into her eyes.
“What's happening...” Heilan asked dreamily.
“Relax.” She breathed and slid her hands down Heilan's body until both were planted under the girl's rear. She lifted the dog easily, lowering her vertically over her cock. Heilan's eyes rolled back as she fell over it. Her legs wrapped around Raithe's slender back and hooked behind it. Her arms draped over the woman's shoulders
“Haa...” Heilan moaned.
“It's big.”
“I know.” Raithe smiled, gently pushing her hips up, bouncing Heilan with that motion. The girl began bouncing on her own as well rather easily. Raithe only used one hand to keep Heilan up at that point, taking her over to the wall to pin her back to something while they fucked. Raithe's other hand moved back to Heilan's face. Caressing her cheek, then rolling over her sensitive ears affectionately while she kissed her deeply. As Raithe's cock invaded Heilan's cunt, stretching it inside and reaching deep, Raithe's soul reached into Heilan's body.
“You already know what it's like to submit, but what about hopelessly enthralled? You can accept that your body belongs to another, but how about your mind and soul?”
“Yes!” Heilan gasped, an intense feeling creeping up from her toes and spreading out.
“Haha... I haven't even started. It is a bit too easy.” She said between short, cute kisses.
“You take a piece of me... It is the first step in the transformation. As a Beastfolk, Heilan, it will not take so long... You will not need to wait long.”
“Wuh... Give-” Heilan felt confused. It was the wrong time to be making a life-changing deal.
“Why? You'll give me something? Why?” She panted.
“I lose a piece of my Core that I can afford to lose. I am strong right now. You take that and my sweet thing... That piece will grow inside of you like a seed so long as you nurture it. And... You will. I know you will. Carefully and lovingly.”
“Yes Miss...” Heilan mewled.
“Good... That is all I needed to hear.” Heilan gasped as warm ecstasy poured into her womb. Her eyes shuddered and grew misty and her voice failed her. Her body was still as strong as ever, though weak in the moment. She clutched Raithe, hugging her tightly around the Fox's neck. They stayed like that for a while, panting together. Then Raithe softened inside and released Heilan onto the ground.
Heilan sat on her knees, stilled tired. She looked up and felt an odd twisting in her mind as she looked up at Raithe. It was a person she wished to please. She wondered if the Hero felt this with Kara. Heilan bent forward despite her fatigue and submissively cleaned Raithe's member. The Fox patted her on the head.
“What...” Heilan spoke between licks.
“Am... I?”
“Neonate of my kind.” Raithe took a load off once Heilan had cleaned her cock enough for her to be satisfied. The Fox comfortably crossed one leg over the other.
“W-what?” Heilan choked out, shaking. The reason for her distress was a simple fact. She did not realize or put it together in the moment but a people that changes someone of another species into their own kind. It sounded eerily similar to a Core Beast. She looked up at Raithe questioningly.
“Uuuhhh...” She whined.
Raithe smiled. “I know what you are thinking. That is closer to the truth than it is a fiction.”
