Chapter 411 by Exarch-of-Sechrima Exarch-of-Sechrima

Well, talk about a bold declaration.

Yours and mine

Nick felt like he was getting eaten alive. He’d been in this situation a few times, set upon and almost devoured by a sexually aggressive woman, like with Marley the other night, or a few times with Mary. It was a very different experience than the more cautious acts of love he’d made with some girls like Morgana and Dawn, or the romantic buildup of his date with Rose.

No, this was more like fending off a rabid wolverine.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin’s fingers dug into his scalp, practically to the point of boring holes in his skull. He could feel her nails through the leather of her gloves, and if they were uncovered he very much feared that she might have drawn blood. But that wasn’t where his focus was on, or even the soft sensation pressing against his chest as her wet figure soaked through the front of his clothes. Too much of his attention was caught by the ferocity with which she kissed him, from the softness of the lips mashing against his to the lashing of her tongue around his mouth. She had no skill with kissing, which wasn’t a surprise, but it didn’t help him either.

All he could do was grab her by the waist and try to pull her off him before he died of asphyxiation.

Luckily, he wasn’t the only one who had that perspective.

“Hey! Get off him!” Rose cried, grabbing the assassin’s arm. “You’re going to suffocate him!”

“It-it takes longer than you would imagine to asphyxiate from kissing,” Dawn said, but the hesitation in her voice and the nervous way her tail twitched behind her showed she wasn’t fully convinced by her own words.

Marley stood rooted in place, having flashbacks to her own night with Nick. I didn’t behave like this, did I?! She cringed internally, even when she could have been trying to help him get free like Carly and Rose were.

But she was still doing more than Holly, who was trying to fight the excited smile curling up her face as her hands rubbed against her chest.

Unfortunately for Rose and Carly, pulling on Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin’s arms was not accomplishing a lot. If Nick couldn’t get her off of him by pushing against her center of mass, those two definitely couldn’t.

RIII-IIIP!

All pulling on her arms did was tear the sleeves of her jumpsuit off, and expose more of her creamy white skin to the air.

“Whoa!”

“Hey!”

Rose and Carly both cried out as they slipped on the wet floor, having lost their balance from suddenly having nothing to pull against. They both landed on their butts, while their target froze in place as a new sensation ran over her.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin’s eyes widened in surprise as she felt the kiss of the hotel air run over her wet skin, and her cheeks flushed. She resumed kissing with even more ferocity (yes, that WAS somehow possible) and increased the pressure she put on Nick.

“Uh-oh, that must be her transformation kicking in,” Dawn winced, remembering the assassin’s list of transformations.

  • Tear Away: Dancing isn’t just a sensual act, sometimes the purpose is to tease and titillate. Like any good stripper, Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin’s clothes are now all tear away garments. Whenever a piece of clothing is stripped off her, her sexual arousal increases along with her agility and her strength and endurance. (Dancer)

An increase to strength, endurance, and horniness was exactly not what they needed right now. Nick was actually starting to fear that his life was in danger. Dakota! He thought as he fought back the screams for oxygen from his lungs. Aren’t you supposed to be stepping in right now to stop this, huh!? Isn’t that your job!?

As though his unspoken pleas had been heard by the host, Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin finally released him.

After an eternity she broke the kiss, ripping her head away with a silent gasp. Nick panted for breath as the room stopped spinning, and the two stood facing each other with several strings of saliva still connecting their parted lips.

That was as far as Nick could get before he felt the ground fall out from under him.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin swept her leg under his, and he found himself on his back with her atop him, gazing down into his eyes with a burning hunger that reminded Nick of a wild beast. He felt her supple ass rub against his erection, which still throbbed with desire from seeing Vivian before, and had only grown more insistent after the assassin’s twisted little display.

As she began to grind against him, her hands slapped down onto his chest and she held him there, licking her lips. Nick was too stunned to even consider pushing her off, and he was too shocked to really think clearly about what was happening.

On some level, he was pretty sure he was being assaulted. He really couldn’t think about whether sleeping with this woman was something he wanted or not, and he hadn’t really given it any serious consideration. After their date, he hadn’t expected her to act like this!

At the same time, though, his treacherous body was sending signals up from his erection, telling him that he really did want this actually, and a forceful, sexually-aggressive woman ready to mount him in the middle of a crowd of his other sexual conquests was really fucking hot.

Not knowing what to do or how to feel about this, Nick just froze. The absurdity of the situation and the intensity with which Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin threw herself at him were too much to comprehend for his horny brain, and he couldn’t even get a single word out.

To make sure he couldn’t, the assassin was already craning her head down to meet his again, eager for another kiss.

“Okay, that’s enough, you! Back off!”

A set of strong artist’s hands wrapped around the assassin’s waist, and practically tore her off of him. Dani held Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin in the air like a wet dog, as she kicked and thrashed and screamed silently against her.

“Stop kicking!” Dani snarled. “He clearly doesn’t want to do that stuff right now, so leave him alone! There’s a time and a place!”

In spite of Dani’s strength, she wasn’t a trained fighter and Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin was. She managed to slither her way out of the other woman’s grasp and landed on the floor, glaring up at the tomboy furiously.

Then she turned to Nick and gestured to the tent in his crotch, which was only made more obvious by his soaked pants.

Blushing, Nick quickly sat up and shifted his legs to try and cover himself, but the assassin’s point had been made.

“That… that’s just a physiological reaction!” Dani snapped, turning red with embarrassment. “That doesn’t mean he wants to do that sort of stuff with you!”

The assassin’s angry expression shifted to a look of confusion, and she glanced back at Nick for a moment. He saw the question in her eyes and quickly shook his head.

“Look, um, Augmented… Synthetic Humanoid Assassin…” He stammered, not sure how to explain himself. “You can’t just jump on someone like that! And especially not me!”

She crossed her arms over her chest and scowled, then she gestured emphatically towards his crotch again.

“I-I know it’s like that, but that’s still not an excuse!” Nick exclaimed, climbing onto his feet.

“Yeah! You can’t just **** him!” Rose agreed, shaking her head. “This kind of stuff requires mutual consent!”

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin winced and her form tightened. She looked around, seeing that everyone seemed opposed to her.

Being backed into a corner was not the kind of place she wanted to be.

“Okay, guys, hold on a second,” Carly said, stepping in front of the slender, soaked figure. “Let’s all take a minute to calm down.”

“I am calm,” Dani said, meeting her girlfriend’s eyes and wondering where Carly was going with this. “But I’m not just going to sit back and let her do something like that.”

“I know, I’m not trying to make any excuses for her behavior,” Carly said, shaking her head. “But she’s not exactly normal, in case you haven’t noticed. Let’s not be too hard on her, okay?”

“That’s kinda… literally making excuses for her behavior, though,” Marley pointed out. “You’re saying that because she doesn’t know any better, we should give her some allowance for attacking Nick like that.”

Carly winced. “That… look, that’s not what I’m trying to say, it’s just…”

“Carly has the right idea, though,” Dawn said, coming to her aid. “We all need to just take a breath, and work this out.”

“Yes! Exactly!” Carly sighed in relief, looking at Dawn like the cat girl was her savior.

Nick found himself nodding, and at the same time, his eyes drifted over to Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin. For once, she wasn’t smiling. She looked frustrated, almost angry. But she wasn’t lashing out, which he took to be a good sign.

Carly turned to the assassin girl, who eyed her with **** suspicion.

“Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin, that was wrong, what you did,” Carly said, trying to keep her voice as gentle and judgment-free as possible. “You like Nick, right?”

The assassin’s smile returned, and she nodded cheerfully.

“Okay, that’s nice, really, I’m happy for you,” Carly replied with a nod in return. “But just because you like him, that doesn’t mean you can just **** him like that.”

“Exactly!” Rose loudly agreed. “It’s one thing to steal a kiss here and there, but that was practically sexual ****!”

Dawn gave the blonde a side-eyed look. She wasn’t helping. “I don’t think you’re in any position to talk about that, you pushed the envelope a few times on your first round here.”

Rose blushed as she remembered their little dalliance in the hot tub, and Nick did as well when the memories returned to him. That was kind of different though, he admitted to himself.

“We… it was complicated!” Rose stammered, but took the cat girl’s point to drop out of the conversation.

Carly kept trying to make headway with the mute girl.

“If you like a boy, you have to wait for him to want to kiss you,” she said. “It’s not enough for you to want to kiss him, okay?”

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin nodded without hesitation, which surprised Carly a little.

“Oh, so you know that?” She questioned.

“Then why’d she do it in the first place?” Dani scowled.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin turned to her and shrugged.

Dani’s eye twitched. “What’s that supposed to mean!?” She was trying her best to keep her emotions in check, but this woman was pissing her off. “You don’t even know?”

“Dani, seriously, please!” Carly begged, looking back at her partner with desperation in her eyes. “We’re trying to have a conversation here, and getting mad won’t help.”

“…Right, you’re right, I’m sorry,” Dani apologized, nodding contritely.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin rolled her eyes and held her fist to her lips, making a silent gesture like she was clearing her throat. Then she waved her hand in front of her mouth.

Carly blushed. “W-well, I mean, it’s not exactly a conversation, but… you get what I’m saying, okay!?” She exclaimed.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin smirked in response.

“Carly, can I say something?” Nick asked, approaching the two of them. He’d more or less recovered from the ****, and could speak for himself now.

Carly glanced back at him. She wasn’t sure that was the best idea, but she was willing to hear him out.

“Uh, yeah, sure, if you want,” she relented, stepping aside and letting Nick confront her himself.

As Nick approached, Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin scanned him with her eyes, and he noticed the way she tensed up with concern. It reminded him of a puppy about to be scolded by its owner, which honestly wasn’t the worst analogy.

He **** a smile to his face.

“So, uh, look, about what just happened… I’m okay with it, really, I am,” he assured her with a shaky smile. “You were a little aggressive, but I’m not upset about anything. I was just surprised, that’s all. Really.”

Her eyes widened in surprise. She tilted her head to the side and made a quizzical expression, like she was wondering why he would say something like that.

Nick sighed. “Look, I get it, you really like me, right?”

Her face brightened into a sunny smile and she nodded vigorously.

“Well… Carly is right. Just because you like someone, that doesn’t mean you can just pounce on them like that,” Nick said, backing up Carly’s explanation. “There’s a process to this sort of thing. Even Sylvia knew enough to not just **** her lips onto mine yesterday. I want to get to know you better before we do stuff like that.”

A wave of disappointment washed over the assassin’s face for a second before her smile returned. She eyed him warily and stroked her chin.

Then she crossed her arms over her chest and puffed up her cheeks.

“I think that’s a ‘no’,” Marley said dryly.

Nick had to admit that the small girl was cute when she was frustrated. But he didn’t want to find himself catapulted onto his back every time he entered the room.

“Look, I know you really like me, but like I said, that’s not how you’re supposed to show you like someone,” he tried to correct her again, hoping he could get her to see some form of reason. “Forcing a sexual situation is wrong.”

“Well, she’s an assassin, what did you expect?” Dawn muttered under her breath.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin frowned, and a look of sadness took hold as she averted her eyes towards the ground. The change in her demeanor made Nick wince. He wasn’t sure how he should address her issue, all he knew was that this wasn’t working.

Then she raised her head pointed to her throat. He thought that he could maybe see tears in her eyes, but it was hard to tell because her whole face was dripping wet.

Rose winced. “I think… okay, I think maybe that’s part of the problem,” she said quietly, rejoining the conversation. “She can’t talk, remember? And she can’t write, either. So maybe she thought that the only way she could show she likes you is with stuff like that.”

Frankly… Rose could relate, to a degree. She’d always been the kind of girl whose first response was physical affection before trying to use her words, and it had taken a while to break that habit.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin didn’t even have that option.

The assassin nodded swiftly and snapped her fingers at Rose.

Nick winced. “…Yeah, I figured it would be something like that,” he admitted with a frown, nodding in resignation. “And look, I’m not going to say that you can’t try and show me you care about me through other methods, it’s just… going that far, it’s a little too much.”

He wished there was some way he could communicate with her better. He really did want to help this girl, and with how devoted she clearly was to him, a part of him wished that he could connect with her in a genuine way.

But she couldn’t talk. They could only really communicate through gestures and expressions. As someone who wanted more than a surface-level relationship with a woman he might very well spend his entire life connected to, could they even find a way to make this work where the both of them could be satisfied?

He really wasn’t sure.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin seemed just as uncertain as he felt. He could feel her pining after him with her eyes, but he didn’t know what else he could say to make her settle down. It wasn’t like they had a standard courtship, and even if she could talk they didn’t have a lot of shared life experience to bond over.

It almost felt like she wanted him to use her as a sex doll, or vice-versa. And that was definitely off the table.

I just wish I knew where this sudden bout of aggression came from, he thought, biting his lip. Our date together was almost sweet… minus all the killing. …Wait… I think that could be it.

He sighed. “Dakota? Are you listening?”

“Always,” Dakota said, suddenly appearing in the center of the Banquet Hall. “And I quite enjoyed what I was watching.”

Everyone reacted with surprise, except Nick. Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin recoiled and took up a defensive stance in front of him.

“Oh, don’t worry, I adore Nick!” Dakota cooed, waving her hand. “I’m glad you’re so fiercely protective of him, but honestly, from that last exchange I’d say you’re the one he needs protecting from!”

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin silently glared at the host, her smile frozen to her face.

“Now, was there something you wanted to ask of me?” Dakota cooed, batting her eyelashes at the man she claimed to adore.

Nick sighed. “Just wanted to clarify something about my date with Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin,” he said, nodding to the short girl standing in front of him. “That was your doing, right? Keeping her under control, I mean?”

“Well… maybe so,” Dakota said, pulling up a chair and sitting down in front of him. She crossed one leg over the other and tapped her cane on the floor. “While the girls were preparing their four-way date, I made sure to instruct them carefully that they were not to do anything that would give them any VP while they were with you. Vivian attempted to push the envelope, of course, but other than that I made sure they would behave themselves.”

She glanced at the assassin and smirked. “…But it seems like some people can only be held back for so long.”

So it was just like Nick suspected. She’d wanted to throw herself at him like that from the start, and only held back on their date because she had to.

“Well, thanks for your honesty at least,” he said, and turned to Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin. He didn’t feel comfortable addressing her like that, but he didn’t have anything else he could call her, so he settled for placing his hand on her shoulder and turning her towards him.

She looked up at him, and her big eyes pooled with a mixture of complex emotions ranging from uncertainty to expectation to hope.

“I appreciate your feelings,” he said, making sure that the conversation started out with her knowing that this wasn’t an objection to what he felt. “But in the future, can you try to show them in a way that’s a little less… aggressive? It’s not that I don’t like aggressive women-”

Rose interrupted him by clearing her throat, earning her an elbow in the ribs from Dawn.

“…But there’s a line. You can’t just tackle me, even if you’ve been holding your feelings back for a long time, okay?” He pleaded with the assassin. “I’m sure there’s a better way you can express your affection than that.”

While it might have been sexual ****, Nick didn’t feel that violated. Maybe it was because he knew that Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin didn’t have a full grasp on the weight of her actions. It wasn’t an excuse, but he could understand her.

She nodded without hesitation, and Nick sighed in relief. Then she lunged at him again, only this time, instead of forcing kisses, she coiled her arms around his like a snake and practically glued herself to his side.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin looked up at Nick with those big, playful eyes of hers, and he sighed in resignation.

“Okay,” he relented with a nod. “That’s okay for now.”

She smiled triumphantly and rested her cheek on his shoulder with a silent giggle.
