"I mean how the time dilation of our travel works isn't entirely clear. While it doesn't seem like it takes us any time to get there, I'm not sure we actually get to the location faster from the outside view than we would if the Tower wasn't condensing the trip, so I don't think we can beat The Desert Mother there," Lemiel says and then hesitates, "though I don't know that for a fact. It is possible we are actually traveling at a faster speed... It's really unclear," she concedes.

"Sally is indeed immune to poison which might make it safest for her to have the needle mace," Maple confirms and Sally gives a quick nod in affirmation as well.

"Isalia could also wield it, being one of our frontline shield users, giving her the ability to inflict poison would be nice, though the same is true of Sally, so... Sadly I do think Sally is the better option," Yulia says after a bit.

"I mean I'm perfectly fine not holding the deadly poison mace that would probably kill me if I accidentally poke myself with it," Isalia admits.

"You think you're likely to poke yourself with your own weapon?" Lri asks teasingly and Isalia crosses her arms angrily.

"With a normal weapon no, with a stick covered in spines, maybe," Isalia responds.

"Okay I think Sally getting the mace is decided then," Yulia says and carefully hands it over to Sally who takes it and steps away from everyone else carefully to ensure she doesn't accidentally hit anyone as she takes a few practice swings with it.

"What does me being blond have to do with the armor?" Cherchiel asks confused.

"Dunno, but we all seem to be in agreement at the very least that you're the best fit for the armor," Yulia responds, handing it over. Cherchiel glances at the Guardian Naga and chuckles awkwardly.

"I think I'll change into the armor later," she says nervously.

"Alright and now for the medallion, it seems pretty unanimous that you have it as well," Yulia says and hands it over to Cherchiel as well who takes it gingerly.

"Boar Mask, Medallion, the voices really seem to think I'm mostly useful as big dumb muscle, huh? I suppose I can't blame them, it would be nice to do more fights without being in a lust filled haze, but as long as it helps Yulia," she says.

"We do know that the intelligence loss is temporary right?" Maple cuts in and Yulia hesitates.

"The identify spell didn't say it was permanent, but... It also didn't specify it wasn't permanent? If it's permanent putting it on and taking it off repeatedly could be extremely dangerous since we don't know if the effect would trigger every time, making the wearer permanently more and more unintelligent with each use," Yulia mutters and looks nervously at Cherchiel, "I... I hope it's temporary, I wish the identify spell had said, I'm a little scared of letting you use it now," she admits.

"The prism staff likely does only require healing after use, the bigger problem though is it essentially means you're draining your health and mana with each cast which if you need to cast a lot of spells could be devastating. I mean imagine Yulia taking herself out of the fight because she needs to heal or focus a physical resistant enemy and casts so many spells she ends up nearly bleeding out. It's a definitely risky weapon to use," Lemiel clarifies and Yulia seems a little disturbed by the idea, her hands visibly clenching into fists as she seems to be imagining the sensation of her hands being torn up wielding the staff.

"I'll... Take it, but I'm definitely sticking with the silver staff unless it becomes necessary," Yulia responds.

"That is unless Talwa does want to accompany us in which case the idea of giving her the staff and the potion isn't a terrible one," Lri offers.

Talwa lets out a surprised noise, almost like a squeak as her name is mentioned, "Um... I mean... I don't really have anywhere else to go, but to go with you, so I guess so, but... That potion especially with the staff... I'll become just a... Well a sex crazed maniac won't I?" she asks, "what good would I be then?" she asks, clearly concerned about the idea of using the potion.

"She'd be sacrificing her entire personality for essentially immortality and as long as we can keep her lust under control she'd be a powerful ally in that state, the potion entirely canceling out the downside of the Prism or at least changing it from draining her life to just draining her... well... self-control," Lemiel explains.

Talwa quickly seems to rethink her stance, "I... I wouldn't be me anymore, but... it would be very... Helpful," she says, clearly the idea again triggering her martyr and saviour complexes.

"I'm going to also just straight up veto the idea of using the potion on Del, it prevents physical damage which could potentially counteract his disease, but I doubt it and if it does, that presumably means that instead of dying he'll just slowly devolve as the disease worsens which is only marginally better than just... letting him die," Maple says, clearly upset at both the idea of using the potion and what would happen and on thinking again about his current state.

"Talwa is up for it it seems, but I don't know... It feels wrong... Are we really going to prey on her complexes to get a stronger ally?" Yulia says, clearly uncomfortable with the idea.

"As for the mirror, I do think giving it to Sally and having her frontline with it and the needle mace, might be the best play," Lemiel adds.

"Goma think shiny rock man for staff," Goma suddenly says, diverting everyone's attention.

"Shiny rock man?" Lri says looking around the group, "Which one of us is Shiny Rock Man?" she asks before adding, "Maybe Martin?"

the rest of the group except Goma also look confused and then Isalia coughs, "I don't think she was calling any of us Shiny Rock Man... I don't think she was suggesting someone to use the staff. I think she was offering her opinion on what the wandering monster who dropped the staff might have been. I think she's saying it was probably some kind of crystalline Golem," Isalia offers and there's a few seconds as the rest of the group processes this and Goma nods seemingly validating Isalia's translation.

"I mean that's all I can imagine it being also. A crystal Golem of some kind drops the staff, hopefully a dragon dropped the medallion... I'm not sure what would drop the mirror shield, some kind of mirror monster or something maybe?" Yulia suggests.

"I'd say the potion came from like a Succubus or something, but I dunno," Isalia adds.

"Speculating is fun and all, but I think we've agreed on what we're doing for the most part right?" Maple asks.

"Yeah I think so... The mirror shield and Needle Mace go to Sally. Cherchiel gets the Aspect of the Apex and the Carapace Armor, though we'll see about holding off on using the aspect for the moment. Prism Staff and Potion might go to Talwa... Though I'm still not certain using the potion feels right," Yulia clarifies.

"Other than that we're going to the tomb and if The Desert Mother got there before us, we'll just have her leave for a bit," Lemiel explains and everyone nods their agreement.

The group makes their passage to the tomb and upon arriving Talwa and Yulia both suddenly back away, "she's definitely in there," Yulia says weakly and Talwa nods, hugging her chest tightly.

"Hess, can you go in and tell her we need her to leave temporarily?" Lemiel asks and Hess nods and heads inside.

As soon as she does however she screams and the rest of the group are startled by the sudden scream. There's a moment of hesitation, before the group all run inside, Yulia and Talwa struggling against the curse's effect, but willing to endure it to save Hess.

Inside they see Hess being held by a large creature. It's appearance is basically just a large urn made of flesh, where it's opening would be is instead a mouth that opens wide as it lifts Hess with a pair of large, chubby hands extending from it's body. Hess is struggling, but it's hands wind around her body holding her in a tight almost inescapable grasp. It's clear this is Goregut and it's about to eat Hess.
