Unwrapping them you find a bunch of wifi speakers with cameras in them and realize that Cerve must have ordered them. You plug one into the nearest wall socket and after a brief moment you hear a feminine voice.

you reply hesitantly,

Cerve: "Loud and clear. this should make communication much easier. There are enough to put one in each room. You'll also find some groceries as you were running out of fresh food."

You grimaced knowing that you weren't so much running out of fresh food but had a habit of ordering delivery rather than take the healthier option of cooking for yourself. Maybe this would be a good change to help with my aspirations.
