When you haven't noticed, obviously.

The two weeks of walking passed very quickly and without any issue whatsoever, because of the sheer presence of the Ladies. Well, it was not quite true, thanks to the Ladies, some monster corpses appeared out of thin air sometimes when you woke up, with both of them acting like nothing happened as they had breakfast.

And you actually arrived to your destination earlier than expected, as at some point of your walk, as you chatted with Lady Melda, not looking at your surroundings at all, everyone stopped as they looked at something not far from you, which you looked at not long after.

There it was : a majestic manor, far too big for the five of you, even from here, sitting almost at the edge of a cliff overlooking the plains around it. Its location looked even better with the mountains towering over it, their top hidden beneath dark clouds, with the occasionnal lightning strike coming out of them and on the mountain.

Seeing this made the five of you determined to finally get to the manor, as having a real bed was becoming a dream for you and your party. This determination led you to quickly get to the manor, admiring it's beauty. May it be the multiple windows, each showing a different room, the dark marble walls and pillars maintaining the building up, or its double doors almost towering over you, made of what looked like dar oak (or something that you didn't even know existed), everything looked so beautiful and nothing even looked out of place, like this place was made to be here.

As you got closer and closer to the manor, the realisation dawned upon you and your party : this manor was now technically yours, even though it belonged to the Ladies, if you stretched it a bit, it was yours.

"Wait a second, is that really ours now ?" Asked Rei, shocked by the immensity of the manor in front of her.

"It techniwally belongs to me and Melda." Replies Lady Kogai. "But since we are like a team now, I guess we can say that it also belongs to you."

This answer made Rei jump in excitation, before you put your hands on her shoulder to keep her on the ground.

"Calm down." You say. "Nothing belongs to us before we are fully installed and ready to live there."

"You don't have to say it again !" Exclaimed Rei, before running to the door quicker than you even saw her before... Until she faceplanted against it, letting out a soft cry as she held her nose in her hands while you came over to her.

"Are you alright ?" You ask, to which she simply answers with a look that says it all, before the Ladies finally come and, with a giggle, unlocks the door. Rei then runs inside once again, completely forgetting about her pain for some reason, before admiring the inside of the manor.

The inside was once magnificient, red carpets with intricate patterns running in the middle of the corridorsn paintings depicting powerful beasts on the walls (unsurprisingly), the wooden floor shining in its clean state, and the white walls untouched. It was truly a place fit for a king, if a king wanted to be unconventionnal.
