Mackenzie gets locked out yet again and ends up in an awkward situation

It took over an hour, but Mackenzie eventually heard a knock on her door.

"Yes, finally!" she cheered.

But, as she sat up from the chair, the her tank top's shoulder strap got caught on the edge of a nearby counter. In less than a second, the thin spaghetti strap of material was snagged, overextended, and ripped unceremoniously in two.

"Shit!" the redhead hissed as she realized what had happened.

"Hello?" came a voice from the other side of the door, accompanied by loud knocking. "I have your order here! Hello?!"

Their frantic banging made it sound like the employee was in a massive rush and might even leave if she didn't open the door immediately!

"J-just a second!" Mackenzie called, any thoughts of throwing a t-shirt over her tank top dispelled by the urgency in the stranger's voice.

She threw open the door, only to practically collide with a small cart and a cruise employee. Mackenzie gasped, barely avoiding banging her hips on the cart, but ended up banging her hip into the door behind her instead.

"Ow! Ugh, are you here about the lock?" she asked, though she was beginning to think they weren't.

It turned out the employee had the wrong floor for a room service order, and they were soon off on their way to the correct destination. That left Mackenzie alone in the hallway when she realized that she had accidentally closed the door to her room behind her. And... even worse, her shorts had gotten caught in between the door and the frame.

"Oh come on..." she groaned.

The redhead struggled for a few minutes to pull the shorts free, but it was in vain. Eventually, she had to face the reality that she only had one option before her. With no small degree of resignation, Mackenzie awkwardly stepped out of her shorts and made her way over to John and Rachel's cabin. Again.

She'd hoped that perhaps Rachel would answer the door this time, but it seemed like John was too quick for her. He opened the door and his eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the woman standing there. Mackenzie's tight white tank top hung from just one shoulder, with a fair amount of her left upper chest on display. Her breasts strained against the thin fabric, with two noticeable points poking through to make it obvious she wasn't wearing a bra underneath. And, below a few inches of visible flat tummy, were her blue boyshort panties. Those two things were all she was wearing!

"Mackenzie!" he greeted, a bit more cheerily this time. "To what do we owe the pleasure?"

Mackenzie awkwardly rubbed her left arm with her other hand. She couldn't pull the shirt low enough to cover her underwear even if she wanted to, so she wasn't exactly sure what to do with her hands.

"H-hi again," she managed, "I'm locked out. ...Aaagain. Still, uh, waiting on maintenance to fix that lock, so..."

"Oh say no more," John said as he beckoned Mackenzie inside.

He didn't step aside, forcing Mackenzie to hug the door frame to squeeze past him. When she did, her panties caught on the same door strike that had snagged her towel just a few hours earlier. A small rip appeared on the left side of the underwear, eliciting a small squeak from Mackenzie, but she made it into the cabin.

"Hello yet again, Mackenzie," Rachel said, taking quite a deliberate note of her unusual outfit choice. "Were you taking a nap?"

"Uh, s-something like that," she stammered.

"I love those shorts, by the way," John said, indicating her underwear. "So colorful, but perfect for a comfy afternoon, right?"

Not wanting to correct him and admit that she was currently pants-less, Mackenzie opted to simply reply with an awkward acceptance of the compliment. John, of course, knew full well that they were underwear. But he figured playing dumb might increase his new guest's chance of sticking around, half-dressed as she was.

"Uh, yeah thanks," she muttered, glancing over at the bathroom door.

Then, to Mackenzie's sheer horror, she felt the seam of her underwear rapidly coming undone. The garment usually fit quite tightly on her hips, and as a result, the rip from the door frame was slowly expanding its way through the left side of her panties.

"Sorry to bother you again. I'll just be go-" she tried to say to excuse herself.

"Oh hang on a minute!" John said. "Now that all three of us are here, maybe this is a good chance to get to know you a bit better?"

"I don't know if..." Mackenzie began, but John had already pulled up a chair behind her.

He'd placed it beside the two others where he and Rachel had been sitting, and Mackenzie half-flopped/half-fell into it.

"John..." Rachel said with a clearly disapproving tone. "Let her go if she wants to. I'm sure she'd love to get some proper clothes on..."

"What? I'm just trying to be friendly! And she looks perfectly decent to me!" he claimed.

John's fib was a bit undercut by the image of Mackenzie sitting in the chair beside him. Her tank top, still hanging from just her right shoulder, seemed to be just barely keeping her chest fully covered. Her left boob seemed like it would pop free at any given moment, and the redhead nervously rubbing her left elbow wasn't helping matters in that department. Each time her right hand moved up, her forearm brushed the underside of her breast. And, despite her best efforts to cover it, Mackenzie's left hip was noticeable showing quite a bit more skin than it had a few moments prior.

"You can't be serious, dear," Rachel said, frankly.

"What?" he responded. "We're going to be seeing a far amount of each other the next couple weeks, especially if the door to her room won't unlock! So we should get to know each other at least a little, right?"

Mackenzie was about to stand up, when she felt the left seam of her panties snap apart completely. The redhead quickly sat right back down in the chair before her ruined panties could fall down. She'd managed to catch them between her thighs relatively soon, but the soft fabric had fallen away from her left hip completely. She was currently sitting mostly bare-assed on the chair! Luckily the top of her lap was still somewhat covered, so hopefully neither of her slightly older cabin-mates would notice the wardrobe malfunction. But still, Mackenzie suddenly found herself with no way to stand up and excuse herself without displaying her failing underwear (and potentially even more!) to the room.

She very much wanted to be back in the privacy of her own room, but maybe if she stuck around she could find some way to covertly fix her ripped underwear? Or she could at least wait for John and Rachel to be distracted before making her move.
