No, it turns out her bathroom door lock is faulty too.

Mackenzie rummaged through her bag for a minute before pulling out her hair dryer. She had originally planned on using it in the bathroom, but at the moment she had no desire to leave the privacy of her room any time soon. So, the redhead stood in front of her wall mirror and began blow drying her red locks.

It took a while to work through all of her long hair, but Mackenzie didn't mind. The monotonous behavior let her de-stress a bit further. Being seen naked by her cabin-mate was far from ideal, but at least it had been Rachel and not John. Seemingly as she thought this, Mackenzie's towel came undone. It slipped off her body and fell to the floor with a soft WHUMP!

"Ugh, really?" the redhead complained, more annoyed than anything else.

Mackenzie opted to finish the last few minutes of blow drying in the nude, rather than disrupting her flow of the menial task. She'd been planning on getting dressed anyway once she'd finished.

"I bumped into our cabin-mate in the bathroom," Rachel chuckled as she exited the bathroom a minute later.

"Oh yeah, Mackenzie right?" John coyly asked, playing it as cool as he possibly dared.

"She's quite the looker, isn't she?" Rachel asked, though her silence afterwards hung in the air for John.

John had heard their bathroom exchange from the cramped cruise cabin, so he could reasonably piece together that his wife had just seen Mackenzie in only a towel. Some of their past marital problems had, admittedly, been due to him getting a bit too enthralled by younger women from time to time. So, John tried to take the honest approach now.

"Oh yes, she certainly is," he said, rather than trying to pretend he hadn't noticed the redhead's looks.

"I hope you'll be on your best behavior around her," Rachel said. "We don't need her calling in any complaints to the ship crew about you or anything..."

"Of course, not at all, of course, not at all!" John quickly said. "In fact, she just came through our room a bit ago. I think the lock to her door is broken or something, so she used the adjoining bathroom to get back in. And, I'll have you know, I was perfectly well behaved!"

"Really?" Rachel asked.

John was trying to be honest, but even so, he felt it was best to omit a few details from the encounter. Like the fact that Mackenzie's towel had gotten snagged and that he'd seen her in just a bikini. And the fact that he was pretty sure the damn swimsuit was practically falling off her slender frame as she hustled away. And certainly the fact that he'd just seen her glorious bare breasts when he was peeking into the bathroom.

"Really!" he said emphatically.

"Well then I'm glad to hear it. Oh! But we should let her know to keep her room accessible via the bathroom whenever she leaves her room. Otherwise, she'll be completely locked out!"

"You're absolutely right," John replied. "I'll go let her know."

Rachel narrowed her eyes at her husband.

"Whaaat? I'm sure she's dressed by now. I just want to pass your brilliant idea along."

"Knock first, dear," Rachel said tersely, taking note that her husband was fully aware Mackenzie had just been showering.

"Of course, of course!" John promised as he bustled into the bathroom.

The mental image of Mackenzie's beautiful boobs filled his mind again as he walked past the mirror. John still wasn't sure if it was a stroke of good luck or bad luck that such a buxom beauty had been assigned to their adjoining cabin.

The 40-something man arrived at the door to Mackenzie's room and, true to his word, knocked loudly three times. The slight tug on the door to see if it was unlocked (it wasn't) that he'd tried first did not count, he told himself.

"Mackenzie?" he called.

Unbeknownst to any of the cabin occupants, the lock on Mackenzie's bathroom door was also faulty! Though, in a very different way than the key card lock on her front door. The bolt that kept the door in place was extremely easily unlocked from the opposite side of the door. And John's few forceful knocks were placed just right to dislodge the lock on Mackenzie's side of the door. The bolt swung out of place and downwards, and the sliding door opened an inch or so.

"Mackenzie?" John asked, though quieter this time.

Unsure if she had unlocked and opened it on him, he tentatively stepped into her room.

It soon became obvious to him that Mackenzie had, in fact, not opened the door for him. Nor did she seem to know he was there. Because there the beautiful woman stood, blow drying her hair on the other side of the small room. She was facing away from John, still wearing just a towel, and the loud appliance masked the noise of his entry.

Before he could even attempt to think of an explanation for his entry, John practically choked on his own spit as he watched Mackenzie's towel simply fall away from her body, as if obeying his unspoken wish. He gawked at the curvy ass the woman had, appreciating the view of her entire naked body from behind.

"Ugh, really?" the woman complained to the towel.

John thought his luck was up, because as soon as Mackenzie turned off the hair dryer, he would be discovered. But, surprisingly, Mackenzie simply continued drying her hair naked! John savored the view for a minute more before finally tearing his eyes away. He wished, desperately wished, he could have seen more, but Mackenzie was too close to the mirror for him to see her front. Still, he reflected as he silently closed the door, he would certainly treasure the two views of Mackenzie's nude body he'd enjoyed so far. "Did you let her know?" Rachel asked as her husband returned from the bathroom.

"I..." John paused.

He suddenly remembered the original purpose of his visit had been to remind Mackenzie to keep her door unlocked if she ever left her room, lest she be locked out completely. But, he reflected, if her lock sprang open on its own that easily, then there was no risk of her ever being locked out of her room. And, therefore, no need to let her know about the faulty lock in the first place. Yes, it made the most sense to keep the information about her faulty lock to himself for the moment. It was just the most sensible option.

"I did," he lied. "She seems like such a nice girl."

"Mhm..." was all Rachel said in response.

Mackenzie finally finished drying her hair and started pulling out clothes to wear. She'd managed to finally push the embarrassments of her first day on the ship out of her mind, unaware that she'd been peeped on twice by John already. The redhead reasoned that she'd probably be waiting in her room for a while until maintenance showed up to fix her lock (if they ever showed up at all). So, Mackenzie opted to dress for comfort. She slid on some panties, a sky blue pair in a boyshort cut. Next were some comfy athletic shorts, which came down to her mid-thigh. Finally, she donned a tight white tank top, pulling it down over her curvaceous bust.

"Much better!" she smiled, happy to have washed up after her earlier dip in the pool.

Mackenzie settled into her chair, picking up one of the books she'd brought with her, and began reading as she waited.
