Hideout at Aurora's

You relay your story to Aurora. "Yeah, Josh briefed me on what went down. But it's better to hear from him than me. Hang on, I'll give him call."

Aurora types a few commands at her keyboard and rings Josh over video call. He answers.

"Jack. Good to see you and the girls made it safely. I told Rachel at AWIO that I heard a rumor about a certain monster girl. When I mentioned Mazl, she said your girl there had some health issues and they were sending some folks to help her back to the center to get treatment." Josh says.

"It would have been some treatment! The guys they were sending were packing! They said she is extremely dangerous, and were prepared to shoot you!" Maya interjects.

"Fucking.... AWIO...." Mazl replies.

"Your problems are my problems, Mazl. I won't let anyone harm you. They had no right to treat you so poorly." You reply.

"Aurora there has graciously agreed to look over your car and make sure they aren't tracking it. You can also crash there overnight. Thankfully, there's no warrant out for your arrests, and unfortunately for AWIO, there's no just cause for one. So consider it a windfall that neither you nor your girls have harmed anyone, or we'd be having a different conversation. So now, we're your ally. Something's up with AWIO, and it's not all roses."

"Yeah! Us monsters have to stick together! Especially if one is mistreated like Mazl there!" Maya says.

"Tomorrow, come to my company's headquarters. We'll talk more there, but for now, sit tight at Aurora's garage. Take care." Josh says as he hangs up the phone.

A somber mood is felt throughout the garage until Molly brings out her guitar and plugs it in. She strums a melody from the old world.

"Sit me down, husband. Next to that old garbage can." Mazl says. You acquiesce, finding a spot for her. She begins striking the top of it as if playing some improvised drum line to Molly's melody, as much in tune as an old garbage can, can be.

The music is haunting, filling the air with magic. "I... Haven't seen this since the old world..." Aurora says to you as she bears witness to a makeshift band that formed right here in her garage, and actual magic starts to pour from the song. Without asking, Aurora rifles through some things and finds a strange looking guitar. She plugs it in to her computer system and starts up a bassline to accompany Molly.

Hearing a band sans the singer, Molly leads them into an actual freaking song from the old world. Everyone knows the lyrics and song except you, and as their hearts pour into the music, they beat as one.
