Time to go !

When you come back to the Adventurer's Waypoint, you can see lots and lots of parties already ready to leave, may they be parties of three, of five, you can even see a party of ten not too far from you, and everyone seems already prepared to fight, even if not nearly everyone got the equipment that was needed to take on the Chaos Legion. Not long after you arrived, the armored woman shouted :

"Questers ! It is now time to depart to Noldrin, to encounter the Legends waiting for you and to prepare for the upcoming battle !"

You were expecting some kind of cheer, or something like that, but were surprised by the silence reigning here, as everyone got their belongings and started walking. You knew it would be a long walk, since Rei told you before you got there that walking all the way to Noldrin takes a week if you walk at a steady pace, and you really hoped that no one will bother you, Rei or Douma. Now that you think about it too... Maybe you should ask Rei and Douma about who should be your party's leader.

And it is exactly what you do, as you ask them :

"Hey, I was thinking about it, but since we're a party, we need a leader, don't we ? Who do you think could be our party's leader, girls ?"

None of the girls answered, looking instead right at you, Rei with a devious grin. You didn't know why, but you didn't like that. Yet, when Rei eventually answered "I think it's obvious that it should be you." You let out a relieved sigh.

"I thought you were going to say something else, seeing the grin you had." You reply

"Can't I scare you a little, from time to time ?"

"I guess you're not wrong if you put things like that..."

You then stopped talking, focusing on walking with the group instead, letting your thoughts wander. Who might be the Chaos Legion's higher up in this camp ? Will you be able to see Atsura, and if so, how will you react ? Seeing how the Legion is seen as an enemy, are Rei and you safe if anyone discovers that you saved its head ? These weren't the only questions in your mind, but each of these questions brought to you an unique kind of fear...

After spending a day walking, when the sun started to set in the horizon, the mass of questers stopped and starting setting up camp for the night. Unsurprisingly, everyone set up their camp pretty quickly, even you, although you didn't do it nearly enough since you woke up in this world. After that, everyone sat around a fire that was lit in the middle of each camp, creating a safe atmosphere that you liked, but even though you could hear parties chatting and laughing, the thought of the fight ahead of you all weighed heavily upon everyone.

To try and distract your own party, you start chatting with Rei and Douma, about anything that came to your mind, and it worked surprisingly well, as when combined with your dinner, it made for a moment of relaxation, where the three of you shared stories, thoughts, laughs, before eventually going to sleep, pretty early, so that you could rest well for the walk of tomorrow.

The following week was more of the same : waking up early, walking until the sun started to set, setting up camp before eating dinner and going to sleep. At some point, it became automatic for your party to, when you noticed the sun going down in the horizon, stop your walk, like many other parties, to start setting up camp.

There haven't been many issues since the parties started their travel. There may have been something stolen here and there, but the culprits were quickly caught and punished, altough not that much, since you needed everyone up to fight, and injuring someone will only be detrimental to the whole group.

But that stopped quickly, and your train of thoughts stoppe quickly too, when you saw the huge walls surrounding your destination : the walls of Noldrin, the capital city of the Elder Land, towering over the plains around it like an impenetrable fortress. This was where your walk will end, but it was also the true beginning of what will be a major event for you.
