Hunter or Prey?

It was around 2 PM, and the day at UA was unfolding like any other for its students, with regular classes followed by intense hero training. Everything was completely routine for the vast majority, but two young, aspiring heroines were planning something.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, I've been mulling it over all night, and this is the best way to do it."

The two girls were Jiro and Ashido, who had spent most of the day working on their plan to save their friend Yaoyorozu from Mineta's clutches once and for all.

They were talking in the cafeteria, away from the other girls so they wouldn't overhear.

"It's just...it's risky," said a noticeably worried Ashido.

"Calm down, it'll work. Yaoyorozu won't risk telling anyone else...we just have to be quick," Jiro reassured her.

The pink-haired girl took a deep breath and put on her most serious face.

"Okay, I'll do it."

Ashido stood up and, somewhat hesitantly, walked over to where Momo was eating, seemingly without a care in the world. This made the young woman wonder if her friend was really in any danger.

She tried to act normal, and as she passed the recommended student, she pretended to trip over her own feet.

"Ouch..."

She bumped into Yaoyorozu, not too hard, before landing on the ground. In that brief moment, without anyone else noticing, she slipped a small note into her classmate's pocket.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," she apologized earnestly.

"Oh...it's okay, we all make mistakes," Momo said nonchalantly.

"It's alright, we all make mistakes."

So the incident passed without much fanfare for everyone else, until Yaoyorozu discovered the note in her pocket. It read:

Go to the courtyard alone at 6 PM. If you don't, we'll all tell the teachers about your relationship with Mineta, and don't tell anyone.

From afar, Jiro carefully observed Yaoyorozu's reaction. She raised her eyebrows, showing her anger, before putting the note away. Jiro glanced around until she saw Momo giving the masked girl with the earphone a defiant look with a fake smile.

Jiro understood perfectly that Yaoyorozu knew she and Ashido were responsible for the note.

5:57 PM

"Do you think she'll listen to the note?" Ashido asked nervously, fidgeting with her fingers.

“I know she’ll do it. She won’t risk her little secret getting out,” Jiro said, leaning against a tree.

The two girls were already talking in the courtyard as they watched the sun slowly begin to set, signaling the arrival of the appointed time.

The pink-haired girl couldn’t help but nervously fidget with her horns, something she tried unsuccessfully to hide. She hadn’t even considered doing something like this to one of her friends.

Meanwhile, the girl with the earphones seemed calmer, but only outwardly. Inside, her heart was pounding as she checked the time on her phone, wondering if she was doing the right thing.

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching, and the hearts of the two aspiring heroines raced with each footstep that drew closer…

"You two. I should have known."

Yaoyorozu appeared among the trees, wearing her hero costume, though with black gloves, a backpack, and a fierce gaze.

"So you came, then. Do you know why we summoned you here?" Jiro confronted her, taking a step closer.

Momo put a hand to her forehead and shook her head, smiling.

"Oh, let me guess… you called me to this secluded spot so we could talk more privately about… about… oh yes, my supposed romantic relationship with Mineta and how you all plan to extricate me from this perverted situation, right?" she said disdainfully.

"Come on, don’t deny it anymore, Yaoyorozu. The fact that you’re here means you’re admitting it," Ashido interjected, but without moving from her spot.

Yaoyorozu looked at the pink-haired girl and then let out a long sigh of annoyance.

"For God’s sake, I only came to stop you two from spreading absurd lies if you don’t have any proof."

Now Jiro moved closer to Momo, her face showing great determination. It was clear she wouldn’t give in so easily.

“Yaoyorozu, we know that disgusting Mineta is controlling you somehow. It’s true we don’t have proof, but it’s the only way he could have you in his hands.”

This time, Momo’s expression changed to one of astonishment and bewilderment.

“W-What?!”

“Don’t hide it anymore. Tell us what it is… ****? A crazy invention? A Quirk? Talk to us. We’re your friends, and we only want to help you,” Ashido pleaded.

Yaoyorozu took a shaky step back, her eyes fixed on the floor as if searching for some answer. Although she said nothing, her body language confirmed to both Jiro and Ashido that they were on the right track.

In a show of compassion, Jiro placed a hand on her shoulder, and Ashido hugged her tightly.

"Yaoyorozu, you're not a bad person, you're a victim of a madman's perversions... Mineta is the real culprit!" said the girl with the earphone jacks.

"S-she's right... tell us how to help you... don't let Mineta have power over you... You're stronger than him!"

A tear fell from Momo's eye onto Ashido as she placed her hand on Jiro's. They were succeeding; they knew that Mineta's control over Yaoyorozu wasn't absolute. So, she decided to appeal to their friendship to bring her friend to her senses.

“I… I… I’m sorry… I’m so sorry,” Yaoyorozu sobbed, breaking down.

“If it’s because of what you told us yesterday… don’t worry, everything is forgiven… Was it Mineta who **** you to talk like that?” Jiro asked empathetically.

Momo nodded.

“Oh… it’s… it’s hard to explain… he has some kind of control… that… that makes me do and say things I don’t want to,” she explained.

Ashido stopped hugging her distressed friend and placed her hand on Momo’s other shoulder.

“So… if he has control over you… he **** you… to do those dirty things for him,” the pink-haired girl said.

Yaoyorozu nodded weakly again.

“How does he do it?” Jiro and Ashido said in unison.

“LIKE THIS!!!”

The two girls were taken by surprise when, in the blink of an eye, Yaoyorozu pulled two red bags out of her backpack and stuck one to each of their hands...
