chores for the elves, a talk with the oracle

the next morning she wash and clean herself, then she get out to see the sky in a calm spot.

the prayer gets answered and with the sound of heavenly bells and and light, a small gemstone appears in her open hand. it is white and transparent, much like a diamond. instinctively ambriel knows she should hold onto it for now

the commune is as busy as usual. Another group of elves is preparing the meals, there is sounds of intense sex coming from every direction. Overhearing someone, Ambriel learns that soon after daybreak the elves will have a daily ceremony for the goddess, similar to service. It is lead by the oracle an will be outside. Everyone present is invited to join.

Tomorrow we will be visited by a tribe of gnolls, their herald is the one i offered myself to earlier. they'll stay for a few days and be entertained by us. I myself will tend to their chieftain. As for you, you are a welcome guest. I would go so far as to offer you the chance to live with us as one of us for the time being. I promise no harm will come to you. I think it would be a lesson in the ways of the goddess, but of course i would understand if you'd refuse."

Well, i thank you for the offer, but i'm staying only a day or two more. I got some info on where could be the mindflayer, and I intend to try to get the relic back. So i won't be around long, but i'll try to came back to tell you how it went, hoping for a good outcome.

the handmaidens keep preparing and ambriel is asked to help the kitchen staff for now in preparing much food.

it is hard to get any info from the leaving guests, what she can tell is that the group is very large and they are combative in the sense of having many fighters in their ranks. and they are entirely made up from gnolls and a few halfbreeds

For safety, Ambriel decides that she should stay close to the oracle during the event. She feels that that pack could brew trouble with her lust. So she wont wear her skimpy armor, only a normal cloth
