Friendly femboy

Keith can smell the food as soon as they exit Gina’s room. Whatever Ava is cooking, it smells delicious, and his stomach rumbles as he walks into the living room. Gina wanders into the kitchen, and Keith can hear her immediately speaking in a lowered voice with the slime girl, though he can’t make out what they’re saying. Shrugging, he walks over and seats himself on the couch, where Devin is lounging and flipping through the menu on the television.

The lizard boy looks over at Keith and grins. “That was quicker than I expected. She wear you out already?”

Keith laughs. “A gentleman doesn’t kiss and tell, but I’ll say that we didn’t do anything particularly crazy. I did just get here a few hours ago, after all.”

Devin quirks an eyebrow. “A gentleman, huh? Somehow I don’t think that’s entirely true. But I won’t press. Besides, I know Gina won’t hold anything back.”

They share a laugh, and Keith shrugs. “Yeah, that sounds right. You know, if everyone around here is like you three, I don’t think I’ll mind being stuck here.”

Devin shakes his head. “I think you’ll learn to appreciate it, but people here are as diverse as any other reality, I imagine. Certainly, not everyone is as horny as us!”

He laughs, then looks over at Keith again. “Speaking of, we’re not making you uncomfortable, right? Like, the flirting and all that? I know that we come on pretty strong. Plus, not every guy is into…”

He gestures at himself. “You know? Like, I’m a dude, I’m not trying to trick anyone here.”

Keith shakes his head. “It’s cool. Gina asked something similar. I’ve never tried anything with a guy, but…let’s say I’m interested.”

Devin’s eyebrows go up, and he leans closer with a grin. “Oh really? Well maybe you can take me for a spin tonight. My bed isn’t as big as Gina’s, but I’m a lot smaller…”

Keith laughs. “I’ll consider it. We’ll figure it out after we eat, whatever it is smells amazing!”

Devin nods, still smiling. “Ava’s a great cook. She’s always been the most capable of us.”

Keith looks at Devin curiously. “How long have you known each other?”

Devin shrugs. “Years. We only really became close in high school, though. Ava is a year older than me, and Gina is a year younger. Gina is big, but she only started college a couple years ago. I graduate soonish, and Ava is in advanced magic classes, as we said. We’re not in a relationship, really, but we’re pretty inseparable.”

Keith nods. “Honestly, that’s kinda cute. I like it, the three of you sticking together. So, what’s your thing, aside from the whole femboy aesthetic? Like, Gina’s an athlete, and Ava’s apparently a wizard, what’s your thing?”

Devin laughs. “First off, Ava isn’t a wizard yet. Apprentice would be a better fit. But that’s semantics. As for me, I’m kinda nerdy too. Computer shit, mostly.”

Keith blinks, then laughs. “Seriously? A femboy computer science guy? I thought that was just a stereotype!”

Devin shrugs. “Maybe? All I can say for sure is that I’m not the only femboy in my classes…”

They both laugh, and Devin shakes his head. “What can I say, sometimes the jokes have a little truth in them.”

He turns back to the television, pulling up a menu again. Keith turns as well, curious as to what sort of things are on in this world. However, as soon as he attempts to read the text on the screen, he feels a searing pain in his head. With a grunt, he turns away, and the pain immediately stops. Devin notices the reaction, and looks at him with concern.

“You okay? What happened?”

Keith shakes his head. “I don’t know. I tried to read the words on the TV, and it felt like my head was gonna explode.”

Devin’s brow furrows. “That’s…weird. You should ask Ava about it. For now, just…I dunno, don’t read?”

Keith is about to reply when Gina’s voice rings out from the kitchen.
