With mixed emotions wait until she gets home the next day.

Somehow I manage to get work done, even though Gina is trying to flirt and I'm focused on Melanie meeting with her coffee guy.
The time goes by very slowly, and it doesn't help that she doesn't reply to my texts throughout the day asking what's happening.
Finally it's time to go home, and when I arrive, Melanie is surprisingly not yet home.
Several more texts go unanswered, and almost 3 hours late, she finally walks in the door.

"SO, WHAT HAPPENED!?" I demand somewhat rudely.
Melanie looks stunned at my outburst and I apologise "sorry, but you didn't reply to my texts... did you meet him?"
"Yes... I went for a coffee first thing in the morning actually, but he hadn't started."
"Oh? So you went back?"
"Yes, I went back at 11am and he was there. Like usual he flirted with me and I just flirted back this time."
"Is that all? So why are you late?"
"No, it's not all. I asked him how long he was going to keep trying to invite me back to his place for."
"Oh? What did he say?"
"He said 'until you come', so I replied, well, I was thinking today might be the day..."
"You didn't!?"
"I did... and he smiled and said he finished at 3, but he'd meet me after I finished work."
"And you met him?"
"Yes... I went round to the coffee shop after work to meet him, and we walked to his place around the corner."
"Damn, Melanie, you're forward now, aren't you?"
"Not as much as him... As soon as he shut the door behind me he was all over me..."
"Really?"

"Yes, as soon as the door was shut he pulled me to him and started making out with me. His hands were on my ass, kneading and squeezing my cheeks."
"Fuck"
"Not just yet baby... but it wasn't long before he led me into the bedroom."
