The Entity watches the females chat together

The entity remained in the shadows observing the humans before it with a mix of fear, curiosity and... hunger. They seemed unaware of its presence and spoke between themselves.

"Oh my god Theresa I thought your mum was going to freak" the second female commented. She appeared to have reddish hair which was different from the others.

"She seems super religious" the third female added. This one appeared to have a similar skin colour to the blonde female but black hair instead of red.

"I know", Theresa replied disdainfully "who even has religion anymore." She appeared to have slightly darker skin than the other two females and black curly hair.

"Sooooo 20th Century" the red head judged.

"How did you do that trick with the book?" the brunette one asked.

Theresa shook her head "I didn't, it just.... fell." She shrugged "Just a coincidence I guess."

"Or a ghooooooost" the red head one replied theatrically.

"Don't be such a cliché Daphne" the brunette replied.

Theresa rolled her eyes "don't start Anna, we need to get an early night below our vacation tomorrow."

"Vacation!" shouted Daphne

"Vacation!" shouted Anna in agreement.

There was a banging on the wall "Sorry Mom!" shouted Theresa. The three females giggled with each other.

The Entity listened to them talk. They talked for a long long time and most of it made little sense to it. Eventually it sensed that time moved on until the three females became largely silent with only light snoring and little movement.

The Entity floated from the shadows and approached them.
