The bedroom of a teenager

The entity arrived in a new place finding itself surrounded by warmth.

It took some time for senses to form. It found itself looking down at three shapes, three human shapes, three female human shapes.

It could see all of the room at once. The room was dim but light from a series of candles was blinding, sounds..... music overwhelmed it.

The humans were kneeling over something. Some kind of board as they each touched a stone, the humans made sounds. The entity managed to focus as its senses returned "Is there anyone there ?" one of them asked. Although how the entity understood English was a mystery.

The entity was weak, it felt an instinct to run and hide in the shadows. It flew through the air towards a corner of the room. In its panic it knocked a book from its shelf and it fell to the ground with a thud.

The girls screamed and one rushed to switch the light on.

The entity squeezed itself into a corner of darkness fearing discovery.

A door opened and a fourth figure appeared.

"What have I told you girls about playing with that thing" the new person demanded.

"Sorry mom, we thought it was be fun" the one who had asked the entity whether it had been there replied.

"Sorry, Mrs Diaz" another of the sitting humans added.

The new person took the board "Ouija boards are not toys, do you understand. You never know what might happen. Understand?"

"Yes mama," the first human replied.

"Go on your phones or something, just not this" the human identified as Mrs Diaz replied as she held the board.

"Yes mama", "Yes, Mrs Diaz" the three females responded as the woman left the room.
