Walter's invention

Walter, a 51-year-old high school teacher, had spent years perfecting his invention - a device capable of altering one's physical appearance. After countless prototypes and tests, he was confident that the device was ready for its big debut.

On an auspicious morning, Walter excitedly made his way to the headmaster's office, carrying the device in a nondescript briefcase.

Finally, standing before the headmaster's door, Walter took a deep breath and knocked firmly. The headmaster, Mr. Thompson, greeted him with his usual stern expression, but Walter noticed a hint of curiosity in his eyes.

"Good morning, Mr. Thompson," Walter began, trying to contain his enthusiasm. "I've come to show you something truly remarkable."

With a twinkle in his eye and a smile creeping across his face, the headmaster motioned for Walter to proceed. Carefully placing the briefcase on the table, Walter opened it to reveal the small, metallic device.

"This is my invention," he declared. "A device capable of altering one's appearance."

Mr. Thompson raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by what he was seeing. Walter quickly got down to business, explaining how the device worked and its potential applications for their school.
The headmaster listened intently as Walter presented his ideas. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Mr. Thompson spoke up.

"You've certainly piqued my interest, Walter," he said. "However, I must insist that you demonstrate me how it works."
