The first quest !

After letting Rei choose a quest on the board, and a quest easy enough obviously, only needing some kind of medicinal herb to be delivered, and letting her teach you that every quest where you need to deliver something you actually just need to get the thing you have to deliver before giving it to the receptionnist at the Adventurer's Waypoint to have it considered done for some reason, you go buy some food and cloaks with Rei's money, along with two bags (you will give her back the money she spent for you when you'll have some, you said to yourself) and you started going, not only because you have to deliver the herbs within ten days, but also because Rei told you that it took two days from Molsis to walk to the location where you could find the herbs.

Said location was at the southeast of Molsis, and was called the Elder Woods. Unsurprisingly, it was a forest, and said to be the oldest forest of this world, which wasn't surprising either, as you started to sense a theme on the names in this empire.

The walk to the Elder Woods was smooth, and you arrived there without any issues, even at night, thanks to the fact that you took turns watching for potential threats every night. Once you finally arrive to the forest, the first thing Rei says is :

"Now, we have to find these herbs. Their description is simple : they are blue, brightly glowing herbs, and are called "Angel Thread". "

"If I didn't know they were medicinal herbs and I saw some, I wouldn't want to touch them." You say jokingly. "When I see glowing blur herbs the first thing I do is step away."

That made Rei chuckles, before the both of you went inside the forest to start searching, and collecting those herbs. And the first thing you notice is the fact that they are quite rare, something that Rei notices quite quickly too, but that doesn't deter you from searching at all.

It took you several hours to search and gather only a quarter of the herbs you needed, and your back was a little painful from you being bent over to search for these.

"At this rate we'll take too long, and I will lose my back with that." You say to Rei, who looked far better than you.

"Your back is that painful ?" She asks innocently.

"Why am I still half bent over like an old man in that case ?"

"I don't know, maybe you are an old man ?" She says before laughing a little. You found her laugh cute, so you let it slide.

After taking some time for your back to rest, you start searching again, at just the right time, since Rei finally sat there to rest a bit. She had for sure more stamina than you, but it wasn't infinite, yet you still felt like you maybe had to train or something, so that you didn't have to take some rest because of a dumb back pain.

The more you searched for Angel Thread with Rei, the deeper you were venturing into the forest. At one point, you started hearing the distant sound of a waterfall, and you told Rei about it.

"I was able to hear it far before you as it stands, maybe because of my ears." She answers, before asking. "I feel dirty with the two days spent walking and the search, why not try and find this waterfall to wash ourselves ?"

"That's... The best idea I've heard for today."

And with that, you start heading towards the waterfall, which you find quickly. But both you and Rei freeze when you finally see the waterfall.

It was for sure beautiful, as the waterfall and the river were both surrounded by trees, the cliff from were the water was falling standing high above all the trees, but it wasn't that that caught your attention...
