Summer Sun

Elizabeth spread out her beach towel, the waves of the Atlantic lapping ashore languidly. She remembered her honeymoon with Douglas, the waves crashing ashore on the North Shore of Hawaii. It felt so very long ago now.

Chubbs had wanted to get some beach time. Perhaps more pertinently, Elizabeth suspected, Chubbs wanted to validate his relationship with her.

He picked a part of the beach predominantly occupied by Blacks. Some of them recognized Chubbs.

"Chubbs ... holy shit bro!" one young slender Black classmate of Chubb's said. "I heard you were banging some older broad, but damn, she's hot!"

"Yeah, bro," Chubbs agreed. "Remember Tave? Dropped out? He hooked me up with her. Her pussy is fire, bro."

The classmate's uncle was staring at Elizabeth. She flushed and turned away as the two 18 year olds gossiped about her.

"You're that bitch that Tave brought around," he said slowly. She blushed deeper. "Chubbs, you mind, dawg?"

"What? Oh sure, whatever," Chubbs said, distracted. The older Black man stepped forward, his eyes gleaming.

"Kiss them," he said, pointing at his feet. Elizabeth flushed, looking from side to side, wanting to hide.

"Kiss them," he commanded. The entire stretch of beach had fallen silent, staring at the Black man commanding the white beauty. She complied, kissing his large Black feet.

"Apologize for being white," he said, his voice loud. Elizabeth ducked her face meekly.

"I'm ... sorry for being white. I'm sorry for what my ancestors did. I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to the Black community."

"I have to take a piss," the man said abruptly. "I'll return her in a bit, Chubbs." Chubbs nodded, feeling a bit on the back foot suddenly. But as he watched her, in her bikini, crawling behind the Black man to the restroom, ideas percolated through his brain.
