Some work and a dungeon raid

Waking up to the sun peaking through the trees I looked around and remembered what had happened last night and that we were still in the woods, sitting up I looked down and saw Henry still laying against my lower chest, deciding that we really should get home I reached down shook him awake, waking up groggily he looked at me as I said "time to get up lover." he yawned as he sat up against my lower body before saying "gods I'm sore, last night is a haze, what did you do?" I replied "don't remember any of it?" he pulled himself up to my upper body before giving me a long kiss, now holding each other in our arms he said "no, I remember all of it, just not much detail beyond pleasure, lust, and you destroying my ass." I blushed a little before saying "sorry about that, this is the time I've used my aphrodisiacs so I probably used too much." he smirked "oh so that's how you broke my mind." he kissed me again before adding "cheater." We held each other for a minute before he pulled away. "Come on, we were gone all night so they're probably panicking." The mood lightened and we continued eating with Cassidy eventually asking Marcus "weren't the monster hunters supposed to arrive today?" Marcus nodded "they should be in town by noon." turning to me he said "Sienna you should keep in your human form today, the hunters will probably come by eventually if we dont head to town first." nodding I went upstairs before activating my polymorph and putting my clothes on, coming back down to the dining room I grabbed my plate and moved over to a spare chair before asking Marcus "actually do you think we should head over to town and wait for them?" Marcus thought for a second "maybe, we don't have much to do around the farm so we could help out in the common fields and wait for them, what do you 2 think?" Henry and Cassidy agreed so after finishing breakfast we headed to town.

The hour walk was unnoteworthy, reaching town Marcus asked a group of people if the hunters had arrive which we learned they hadn't, Marcus then them where the mayor was because we wanted to help in the fields, getting pointed towards him we headed that way eventually seeing the mayor talking to a few people, the mayor noticed us walking towards him and shooing the people off walked towards us, Marcus said to the mayor "how are you jack?" before pulling him into a hug, separating the mayor whose name was apparently jack replied "getting old but what else is new?" The 2 laughed for a moment before Jack turned to Henry and said "you seem to be doing good, when I heard you were hurt I was scared as hell." Henry walked towards him still a little wobbly before pulling into a hug of their own "course you did uncle, you're the only one who worries about me and Cassidy as much as father does." that got another laugh from Jack before he gave Cassidy a hug next and we moved on.

With the greeting over Marcus asked Jack if there was any work we could help with while waiting for the hunters, Jack lead us to a part of the fields outside of town where a bunch of other farmers were working and we got to work, the next few hours flew by as the 5 of us got to work with the other farmers, I was still getting used to farm work and now doing it in a much weaker body proved more tiring but I survived, finally around noon a younger boy ran up to the mayor and talked to him before the mayor gave a yell to us and said the hunters had arrived, grouping back together the young boy lead us to the party who were waiting for us.

Reaching where they were waiting we saw 4 people, noticing us one of them approached us and greeted Jack, introducing himself as David I used gods eye on the party and saw they were all middle to low tier 2, all human, and that David was a knight and the other 3 were a male sorcerer, priestess in heavy armor, and male marksmen, which from the description is apparently a tier 2 class focused on ranged combat, zoning back to the conversation David asked about any details we had about the goblins which Jack told him to ask me.

David walked over to me and stretch out his hand and introduced himself to me, accepting his handshake I told him to call me Sienna which he accepted before he said "So could you tell me about them?" nodding I said "course I can, it seems like the dungeon appeared a week ago, the first anyone saw of them was when they attacked the farm of the 3 behind me, I saw the fire they started then hunted down the raiding party, after that I followed their trail and found the dungeon, after that I hunted down a larger raiding party sent by the dungeon and cleared out a hamlet that they took over on the other side of the woods." the 4 of them looked surprised before David asked "could you tell what tier they were?" I answered "the hamlet had a half dozen tier 2's split between hobgoblins and war orcs, haven't seen a tier 3 yet but I haven't messed with the actual dungeon and I get the feeling the dungeon master is pretty smart." nodding David thanked me before walking back to his party and they began talking amongst themselves.

After a few minutes of talking David called me over, walking over he asked "can you lead us to the dungeon?" I agreed to do it, David looked happy before asking "I also wanted to ask if you wanted to help us beat the dungeon?" I looked between them before saying "I wanted a 40% cut." they were immediately angry, the sorcerer said first "why the hell do you deserve that much?!" I smirked "you 4 are tier 2's, so I'm a lot stronger than you 4 so 40% sounds good enough." they immediately rejected my offer, before David asked if id still be willing to guide them, I said yes and told them id take 4 hours to get there between the walk to the farm and the hike to the dungeon, after talking over the plan we all decided to just get it done and started walking to the farm.

Reaching the farm the hunters left their packs there and we waved goodbye to Marcus, Cassidy, and Henry before headed into the woods, 4 hours later we reached the dungeon, I turned to the party and said "see that cave over there?" they nodded "that's the place, I'm going to wait out here just in case you need me or some of the minions came from the woods, good luck." David thanked me before they entered. I heard a few sounds of combat that got quieter until I couldn't hear them anymore, letting out a sigh as I sat down not far from the cave entrance.

A little over half an hour passed in silence until I heard footsteps and they were running, realizing something was wrong I stepped back and readied my glaive, the first thing I saw was the marksmen running for is life, he yelled at me for help before running a little past me before falling to his knees trying to catch his breath, looking back towards the entrance of the dungeon I saw 3 war orcs exit the dungeon, realizing I couldn't fight them in my human form I told the marksman to not panic before unequipping my clothes and dropping my polymorph before rushing the war orcs and killing them in seconds, turning back to the marksmen I saw he was somewhat afraid, cutting to the chase I asked him what happened, the marksman said "what?" realizing what I said he shook his head before saying "sorry it just went wrong so fast, we cut through the minions easy enough but when we got to the boss he was an uruk, we tried running but a bunch of war orc appeared behind us, the rest got captured.' he looked down, asked "an uruk?" he replied "the tier 3 evolution of war orcs." I nodded, be bowed his head to me before saying "you said your strong so please save them!" I smiled at him "sure thing, go ahead and wait for us, we'll be back soon." he looked with hope before thanking me.

Entering the dungeon I quickly started seeing dead goblins, then orcs, and lastly war orcs and hobgoblins, after 10 minutes of walking I started hearing talking, getting closer I realized the dungeon boss was interrogating the 3 hunters, finally seeing the boss I used gods eye and confirmed he was an uruk, along with him and the hunters he had 4 war orcs keeping the hunters in line, looking at the bosses stats I saw we were roughly comparable in stat total between our base stats and boosts though my other abilities would give me an edge.

Deciding id seen enough I decided that the war orcs didn't matter so I focus on the boss, glaive in hand I took a deep breath before charging the boss, between the firm dirt and my paw pads the uruk didn't hear me coming so my first strike was unobstructed, reaching him I swung at his side with my glaive, the uruk howled in pain as my strike slashed his side open, having passed by him I made some distance so he couldn't counter attack, the uruk turned to me with anger that turned to screaming rage at the realization that I was the cat-taur that had been killing his minions, he screamed at me with a number of creative new curse words id never heard before charging me dane axe in hand.

The uruk was charging me, responding I raised my glaive and thrusted it towards him, as I did so he against all my expectations took the hit to his chest before grabbing my glaive by the pole with his left hand and swinging his axe towards me with his right, I was still only at the edge of his range so I leaped backwards easy dodging his attack but had to give up my glaive to do so, now weaponless and not particularly liking any of the weapon in my inventory I swapped to claws, the uruk stopped his attack to pull my glaive from his chest, I took the chance and rushed him, the uruk swung at me with his axe but it proved easily dodgeable with his one handed swing, with the gap gone and the uruk wide open I went straight for his face with my claws wide, the 4 claw marks my attack left behind quickly started pouring blood, blinding him, at this point the uruk yelled something in the goblin language and the 4 war orcs rushed me, deciding id sufficiently injured the uruk that he wouldn't be able to counter attack for a while I turned to the war orcs.

The first war orc that reached me took a swing at me with a one handed axe, using my far superior speed I grabbed his wrist and twisted it before raising my arm up and bringing my claws down on his neck, I then moved my hand to the same arm as my other and shifting my body weight spun my body around to build up momentum before flinging his dying corpse at the other war orcs hitting one and stunning the other 2, while the war orcs were stunned recovered from my throw and rushed them disemboweling the first one without issue before, before the slamming the second into the ground ripping his throat out with my claws, turning to the last war orc I grabbed the last ones discarded axe and walking over to the last orc who was still trying to get his allies corpse off him brought the axe down as hard as I could easily splitting his skull and cracking the rock floor under him.

Looking back to the uruk I saw he had partially recovered, wiping the blood from his eyes and pulling my glaive from his chest though he was obviously hurting but was standing with his axe ready, having an idea I pulled the axe still in my hand from the orc and threw it at the uruk before charging him, the uruk dodged to the side just in time to not get hit but doing so also threw off his balance so taking my chance I leaped at him, unbalanced and with a 600 pound cat ramming into him he fell hard, now pinning him I truly started ripping into him, going for tendons, face, stomach, and chest with both my hands and front legs, by the time I was done he was already dead.

Turning towards the hunters I saw them flinch as I looked at them before David said "your Sienna right?" I confirmed "and you just saved us?" I confirmed again, the 3 looked relieved before thanking me and the priest began healing her allies' wounds, David seemed to remember something before asking "is Willis ok?" remembering the marksmen's same was Willis I told them he was fine and I told him to wait outside while I came and saved them, they looked relived again, having a question I asked "so what's next?" the sorcerer spoke first "now we grab the dungeon core and take it to the guild for our pay out." I nodded before saying "so you know you lot owe me 40% now." the 3 looked at me before collectively sighing before David said "you did save us so a cut is the least we can do."

Having been healed the sorcerer walked over to the uruk and started cutting into his chest, after a minute he pull a fist sized stone from the corpse and said it was the dungeon core and the uruks personal core, now with the core we left the dungeon and found the marksman waiting outside, with him healed by the priest I swore them to secrecy to which the all immediately agree, heading back to the farm we arrive just past dark, heading inside the family had prepared a large meal for the 8 of us, somewhat shocked that I revealed being a monster to the hunters they were still happy to see we all survived especially with the story we brought along, not having enough chairs we each grabbed a bowl before heading outside to eat in the warm summer air.

The hunters tied from the day decided to set up camp next to the farm rather than make the walk back to town, me, Henry, and Cassidy joined them for a while stargazing before heading to bed ourselves.
