To Your Surprise, It's Negative!?

Negative, the tests were negative. Well technically there was a something like a One in a Million chance that all three tests were giving you false negatives. Not that you WANTED the that to be the case. But after today's drama you had been trying to mentally brace yourself for what you had thought had been inevitable.

But as it turns out it had not been inevitable, because apparently you were NOT pregnant! A revelation that shocked you so much that you could do little but stare at the pregnancy test still in your hand.

You are snapped out of your thoughts by the sounds of knocking on the door. “Amber, you ok?” It’s Melody. She must be checking in on you. How long had you been in here?

“Yeah, I’m ok. Just give me a minute.” In fact, now that the surprise was starting to wear off you were felling better than ok. As you stood up it was as if a large weight was lifted off of your shoulders as you felt less anxiety than you had felt since starting your Pokémon Journey.

As you open the door you look at both Melody and Blue who are looking at you expectantly. Holding up the test you give a small smile and jokingly say, "So, it looks like I failed."

As the news sets in Melody gives a sigh and you can see her visibly relax. Blue however has an unreadable blank expression on his face as he stares as the negative pregnancy test and your face. You wish you were better at reading Blue, because you have no idea what is going through his head right now.

Shit, how IS Blue going to react? You and he had gone through this whole marriage thing because you had been positive that you were already pregnant. Is he going to be angry, relieved, what?

Author's Notes: This short chapter is just an idea that has been bouncing around in my head for a while. Not sure IF I'll do anything else with it, but I wanted to get it out of my head space.

Besides, maybe this will inspire someone else.
