Week 1: Monday Mayhem (Searching the Resort)

Gina left the clothing area with a brand-new outfit consisting of some tight blue jeans and a green tank top. She walked around the resort in search of some treasure chests and game rooms since she was in dire need of points. Gina couldn’t help but think of Nicole as she walked around. It was annoying that she had to pretend that she was Nicole’s mother as well, but it did grant her an opportunity to get closer to her so she couldn’t complain too much.

Gina eventually entered a room with three basketball hoops attached to the back wall. The rest of the wall was filled with various players from across the history of the NBA. She could recognize a few of them like Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Stephen Curry, etc. She looked over to see a machine that held a bunch of basketballs inside of it. It looked like one of those shooting games you’d see in an arcade or at an amusement park. Gina frowned knowing that she was not the most athletically inclined person, but she wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity for points.

She pressed the start button on the machine and allowed the basketballs to slide out of the machine in front of her. She grabbed one and shot it only for it to hit the rim and miss. Gina shot a bunch of shots but didn’t make nearly as much as she hoped she would before it ended.

33 BP gained

Gina didn’t bother with the room anymore and left it in search of another one. Gina didn’t know if she was lucky or not, but she quickly found another game room. Well, she thought it was a game room when she opened the door. It was an ocean-blue room with a single crane game in the center of it. When she went up to it to play it, she realized that there were instructions that you had to use 5 BP to play it. None of the game rooms that she experienced before required you to pay to play it.

Gina figured that there must be some special prizes inside of the machine. She looked inside to see a variety of unique items. However, she couldn’t tell how useful they were or if they had any special effects like the candy she got from the treasure chest yesterday. Unlike the other contestants apart from Jessica, she didn’t have many points. Was it really the best call to spend them here? These machines are known for being scams. Then again, it wasn’t like she had anything specific she was saving up for.

She decided to take the risk and use her BP to get something useful. Gina had 80 BP left so she had 16 tries to get something useful. She searched the pool of prizes until she came across a golden watch. Gina thought that any skill involving time would be extremely useful, so she decided to go after it.

The first few tries the crane was too wobbly and missed the watch. Any prizes she grabbed by mistake slipped out of the crane’s grasp and went back into the prize pool before the crane shifted back to its starting position. Gina tried to be more patient the next couple of times as she managed to grab the watch briefly before it fell back into the pile below. The watch was too small for the crane to grab, so she needed to grab it along with something else so it could stay in the crane’s grasp.

Luckily, it landed next to a small blue box that wasn’t too big, so she tried grabbing the watch alongside this blue box. She didn’t make much progress on the next few tries since she failed to get the crane to grab both prizes at the same time. If anything, she moved the blue box further away from the watch making her previous strategy now impossible. She only had a couple more tries to get something before she lost all her BP. She tried to grab the watch once again with a Pikachu doll, but she kept failing. Gina only had enough BP for one last try as she tried to grab the watch and the Pikachu doll.

Surprisingly, it worked, and she grabbed both prizes. The crane made its way to the opening, but before it could make it into the opening the prizes fell into the prize pit below. Gina watched as the golden watch fell into an open space in the prizes and disappeared from her view. The Pikachu doll was heavier than she thought as it slammed into the prize pit and bounced the items around it. One of them bounced out of the prize pit and into the opening she needed it to go.

She reached down and grabbed a small silver gun. She wondered what it could do as she held it in her hands. It looked like a normal toy gun, and nothing popped up for her saying anything special about it either. She checked her phone and saw that she hadn’t received any notification to tell her what the gun did. Gina hoped that she didn’t waste her points on a useless item.

Gina called, “Maid Guidance.”

Not a second later, an android appeared in front of her and stared at her without any particular emotion on its face.

“Is this gun special in any way?”

“This is the Memory Wiper Gun. You can use it once per round to target someone. The target will enter a trance where they can be told to forget something. However, it can only be used to forget something that happened during the game. It could be a specific day, concept, or even a specific person’s actions. After it's used, it will disappear for the rest of the round. Once the round is over, it will teleport to a random location on the resort.”

Gina smiled after realizing that this gun would be very useful in any plan she came up with in the future. It's a shame she couldn’t get the watch, but she wasn’t upset about the prize she got. She placed the gun in her pocket and left the room with a smile on her face.

Kimberly didn’t go out exploring after getting multiple sets of clothes for herself and her new twin. Instead, she came back to her room to practice controlling two bodies at the same time and her new tail. It was easy to control one body at a time. It was comparable to closing one of your eyes while you went on with your day. It made life more difficult, but it was doable. Kimberly didn’t have the luxury of ignoring the problem, so she went straight to work to achieve more control over the situation.

She started with her tail. She used to wrap it around small things around the room and pick them up. It wasn’t too hard, but it was a bit draining getting used to it. She was using a muscle that she never had 24 hours ago. After training with that for a while, she tried doing simple things at the same time with her two bodies; for example, making the bed while using the other body to drink a glass of water. It wasn’t until her stomach started growling that she decided to take a break to eat something.

Kimberly sent one part of herself to get some food while the other thought about the proposition that Brianna made to her earlier. She could take the information from the meetings to Max so that he could attend things that the group set up and be able to be abreast of all the events that are going on around the resort. She worried that he might not forgive her so easily for what she did in the past, but hopefully, her services and her newer bustier body could sway his opinion.

Lisa was now wearing a red polka-dotted sundress with some black sandals. She also had a small purse that she used to keep her phone in since she didn’t have anywhere on the dress to put it. She looked over to her friend Brianna, now sporting a blue T-shirt and short black shorts, as they walked around the resort.

After making sure the two of them were alone, Brianna asked, “Why didn’t you mention the glitchy, purple door to everyone else?”

“Brianna, we need to take every advantage we can get over the other contestants. There’s no telling what they’ve already discovered that they’ve neglected to tell us. Besides, showing your entire hand puts us at a disadvantage.”

Brianna frowned, “How can we get people to work together and trust us if we lie to them?”

“I don’t think that we should keep everything that we find a secret, but things that could solely benefit us should be kept from everyone else.”

“How does keeping the door secret even help us?”

“We can search the resort for it and keep getting our questions answered about the other people in this resort.”

“Yes, but the door’s location is random and hard to find as it is. Plus, other people could use it to learn important things that we haven’t thought of. Also, they could find it on their own regardless.”

Lisa sighed, “I just worry that they will learn things about us or this place that would put us at an even greater disadvantage.”

“I can see that you don’t trust the other contestants, but I think that it's better to be honest with everyone unless absolutely necessary.”

“You’re too nice for your own good. Fine, I’ll tell everyone tomorrow.”

“Thanks, Lisa.”

Lisa smiled in response before she noticed that Max was walking towards them. He was wearing a DBZ T-shirt and some black jeans. He had a smile on his face as he made his way over to them.

“Hey, how’s it going?”

Brianna matched his smile, “Good, everyone just got done with a little shopping trip.”

Max smiled, “I can’t say I didn’t notice. You’re both looking quite beautiful in your new outfits.”

Lisa couldn’t help but smile at the compliment as she replied, “Thanks, how was your morning?”

“Good, I’ve eaten breakfast and am ready to explore this place a bit more. I’ve just happened to run into you two first.”

Brianna replied, “Lucky us. However, I think that you should spend some time talking to Lisa. I’ve got something I need to do.”

Lisa looked over in confusion at Brianna before she realized what happened. Brianna waved to the two of them as she walked away. Lisa sighed but realized that this would help make what she was going to do next easier.

Max turned to her with a bit of a laugh, “That was a bit too obvious. Do you need to talk to me, or is Brianna's transformation activating?”

“I never mentioned talking to you alone, so it was her trait. Does talking to me alone bother you?” asked Lisa with a bit of trepidation in her voice.

“No, I was curious. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to you face to face. I can’t say it isn’t a bit nostalgic.”

“Do you know of anywhere private we could talk?”

Max thought about it and replied, “The only place I know for sure is my suite. We could talk there if you prefer.”

“Yeah, that’s fine.”

Max led her back to his room and they continued talking.

Max asked, “Do you get along well with Brianna?”

“I do, she’s the best part of being in this place.”

“Yeah, being a prisoner sucks. I’m stuck playing this game whether I want to or not.”

“At least you don’t have any crazy transformations to deal with. I’m stuck wearing a dress because I don’t want to wear a lot of clothes and be too uncomfortable.”

“For now, but who's to say that won’t change in the future? I control nothing about this place or this game. We can only work in the confines of the rules or face punishment.”

“I agree. I’m not going to lose. I’m going to win.”

No matter what I must do.

Max smiled, “I have a feeling you’ll win, but whether you’ll get first place is up in the air.”

Lisa frowned, “You don’t think I can get number one.”

“It’s not about whether I think you can, but what’s going to stop you from reaching that goal. This place is a mystery, and there’s no telling what’s hidden behind every corner.”

Lisa couldn’t help but agree since barely anything in the resort was consistent. It didn't take long before they were in his room away from all prying ears except possibly Ann’s.

“So, what do you want to talk about?”

Lisa took a deep breath before saying, “I would like to apologize for the way our friendship ended all those years ago.”

Max looked sad when the situation was brought up and not angry. Lisa preferred sadness over anger since people were more prone to being irrational when they were angry. Max didn’t say anything at first but eventually replied.

“It’s okay. I’m not mad anymore, just disappointed. I’ll try not to hold it against you in this game.”

That response wasn’t enough, but she knew she was going to have to do a little more to really earn his forgiveness. Thankfully, she had something to do just that.

“Max, you should know that my trait allows me to edit other people’s traits if they use my services in the resort. I woke up early to work in the kitchen and was able to use my trait to edit anyone at breakfast. I used to edit Gina’s trait and made it stronger than before.”

Max looked surprised before replying, “Smart move, now you can change anyone you want daily without anyone knowing.”

Lisa smiled from the praise, “Exactly. As a peace offering, I’m willing to strengthen Gina’s trait for the rest of the week.”

Max looked thoughtful about the proposition before replying, “Can I ask that you strengthen someone else’s transformation instead of Gina’s?”

Lisa looked a little shocked since he wasn’t taking the chance to make Gina’s life more miserable. However, it made sense if he was planning to avoid her and let her get eliminated at the end of the round if she did poorly. She was fine with editing anyone else as long as it wasn’t Brianna.

“That’s fine, but who do you have in mind.”

“I want you to strengthen Serena’s transformation instead of Gina’s transformation.”

Lisa didn’t have anything against Serena, but she also didn’t have any hang-ups about throwing her under the bus.

“That’s fine with me.”

Nicole stopped at the counter of the resort’s store and bought a laptop from one of the expressionless maids. It cost 100 BP, but she had more than enough to afford it. Nicole made her way back to her room and immediately started her new project. She decided to call it Project: Safeguard since it would be protecting the other contestants from each other while also finding out more information about the resort. Nicole could see with her new transformation that there was a network of information in the walls that was waiting to be tapped into, which only increased her motivation to get this done. She was going to uncover this place’s secrets to win and escape this place.

Nicole decided to work on the easier task first, which consisted of making a program to lock everyone’s phone behind a user-specific password to prevent people from stealing someone’s phone and instantly having access to all their points. Nicole will also make it so that the resort’s store has a verification before you purchase something, so you don’t accidentally buy anything you don’t want.

After that, she’ll work on the harder part of the project. Nicole was going to create a virus that would infect the resort and gain access to the various places around the resort. The virus would be able to give her extra information about where things will appear in the resort as well as access to the systems that are connected to it. It’s debatable whether the magic of this place will allow her more control over the things here, but it is worth a shot. She’ll also be able to access Ann’s personal computer if she has one and will be able to be more informed about this place and what is going on here.

There were no rules that Ann made that would prevent her from going forward with this plan, so she sat on her bed and got to work on the first program.

Jessica walked away from the clothing store with a blush on her face. Serena was certainly more forward than most women she had the pleasure of meeting. She didn’t want to admit it, but she had a little fun. Just a little bit of fun hanging out with her in the dressing room as she undressed right in front of her and showed off her ass as she tried on various sets of underwear and bras. Jessica also had to admit that she had a tight, attractive body that she knew how to show off. Not that she would ever say that aloud though.

Jessica also wouldn’t admit to anyone that she ended up buying the crotchless underwear. Wearing it was a step too far but having it in her drawer wouldn’t hurt anyone. After everyone else went their separate ways, Jessica wondered what she should do. Was it really the right thing not to do anything and expect to win?

She shook her head; she couldn’t believe she thought differently for even a second. Of course, things were going to work out for her. She wondered if this place had a spa, she could use a nice massage.

Crystal joined up with Serena after separating from Lisa. She was wearing a simple black dress. A new brown purse was slung over her shoulder to contain her phone. She looked over to Serena to see her sporting a green crop top and some black shorts.

“Nice dress, Crystal. Did you have fun hanging out with Lisa?”

“She was a lot more pleasant to talk to than I thought, but I’m still wary of her. I see you had fun with Jessica.”

Serena had a big smile on her face, “She’s so obvious. It’s fun to tease her. Maybe I’ll have a bit of fun with her if she’s up for it.”

Crystal blinked, “You’re a lesbian.”

“I’m bi. I can appreciate both the male and female forms. What about you?”

“I like men, Serena.”

“I had a feeling, but I wanted to make sure. However, have you been with a woman?”

“No, but I don’t want to start now either.”

“That’s fine. I wasn’t saying to try with me but to keep your options open. Life’s too short to get hung up on certain things.”

Crystal didn’t respond as she opened a door that revealed a game room. There was a silver Skee ball machine in the center.

Serena rushed over to the machine to play and pressed the button to start it. The usual white Skee balls all had Serena’s face on them as they slid into the open spot for Serena to grab. Serena grabbed the balls and aimed for the one-hundred-point holes in the corners. She didn’t get it every time, but more often than not she made it into the hole.

140 BP gained

Once she was finished with the game, Crystal asked, “How are you so good at this game?”

“When I was younger, I went to the arcade all the time after school. I learned to be very good at most of the games there. Skee ball was always a personal favorite of mine though, so I’m better at it than most people. Do you have much experience in Skee ball?”

“I’m good, but I’m not an expert like you.”

“I’m sure you’ll do great.”

Crystal went up after Serena and did almost as well.

100 BP gained

Crystal smiled, “You’re right. Come on, I’m sure there are other game rooms somewhere around here.

Serena smiled and followed her.
