Chapter 131

Selena is Auctioned Off

The time in the palace was the most relaxing Selena had been for a while. She was bathed twice a day, and even left alone to relax while she did. Marco and Daniella had stopped using her sexually now, and had given her a **** tunic to wear until her auction day.

Today was the big day, the day she was to be sold into slavery. She was terrified and a little excited.

She sat in the corner of the room, her skin glistening with sweat as her fingers tapped anxiously on the stone floor. The palace was bustling with activity; the air thick with the scent of nervousness and excitement. She felt like a caged animal, waiting for her fate to be decided by strangers.

Daniella approached her with a cruel smile, running her fingers through Selena's hair. "You look absolutely exquisite today, Selena."

Selena nodded, her eyes downcast. She knew what was expected of her.

Marco walked in, a smirk on his face. "Today is the day, Selena. Today, you will become the property of someone else. I’m sure those lips will be put to good use."

Selena's heart raced, her palms sweating. She tried to swallow the lump in her throat, but she couldn't. Her mind reeled with the thought of what her new life would hold. Would she be whipped and beaten, or would she be pampered and adored? Would she have to serve men like Marco, or would she find a **** owner?

As she sat there, tears pricked at her eyes, and she tried to steel herself for the unknown. She had been a daughter of House Reyes, now she was a ****, and her fate was in the hands of others. All she could do was hope that her new owner would be fair and just.

Outside the palace, a festive atmosphere bustled with life. Merchants from all over the empire had set up their stalls, selling exotic goods and treats. Music filled the air, and the sweet scent of roasting meat wafted through the crowd.

Inside the palace, preparations for the auction were well underway. The great hall was transformed into a makeshift auction house.

She looked over at Marco and Daniella before stepping onto the stage, knowing she’d probably never seen them again. Not that she wanted to.

As the auction began, Selena was led into the grand room where she stood, exposed, on the stage. The crowd was a mix of men and women, all eyes on her as she stood there, trying to maintain her composure.

“The next lot is a very special prize,” the auctioneer said. He was a huge, fat man, and his voice boomed out into the theatre of a room. “Before you is Selena Reyes, of the noble house of Octoton.”

There were several audible gasps of shock and surprise from the crowd as Selena stood awkwardly.

“Isn’t she a beauty?”

Selena held her hands behind her back submissively, and her eyes down, not looking at the crowd that were about to compete for her ownership.

The bidding started slow, with a few low bids here and there. But as the auction wore on, the bids grew higher, and Selena could feel her value increasing. She was a precious commodity, a treasure to be fought over.

As the bidding reached its peak, Selena could feel the sweat on her skin, the heat of the room. It was like a furnace, and she could barely breathe. But she held her head high, her eyes searching the crowd for a potential buyer.

One man stood out; his eyes locked on her. He was old, with a lined face and a silver beard. But there was something about him that made Selena's pulse quicken. He seemed to exude power and wealth, and she couldn't help but feel drawn to him.

The bidding continued, and the price grew higher and higher. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the old man raised his paddle, and the auctioneer declared him the winner.

Selena was led off the stage, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn't know what her new life would hold, but she had faith that the old man would treat her well.

Outside the palace, the festivities continued. Merchants hawked their wares, and music filled the air. But inside the palace, a different scene unfolded.

Selena was led to her new owner's chambers, where she was presented to him. He looked her over carefully, his gaze slowly travelling from her head to her toes.

"You're not for me,” the old man said. “I was sent here to buy you at all costs. We must travel north for a few days, then you shall meet your master.”

Selena gulped at the uncertainty of it all.
