Week 2 Carla's Date: Part Two

Carla had invited Laura up to the music room after breakfast for another impromptu concert and the whole harem had come with. Susan had been in fine form on the drums, with her new stamina helping her keep up better than ever. Evelyn had tried to keep up on her own guitar as best she could, though it hadn't been plugged in, which was good practice for her.

They'd also shown Laura what they had so far working on The Mountain King to let Evy shine on the harp. Carla didn't want her to feel at all snubbed after what had happened in the library.

She thought things had gone really really well. Shar had even shown up for Evelyn's showpiece and given them all a round of applause before vanishing after.

As dates go Carla didn't think it was too shabby.

Lunch had been a rambunctious affair with everyone pumped from the music and after most everyone had run off in pairs except the trio that had gone to the gym and the small group left sitting in the dinning area.

Carla had asked Evelyn to tell them about the Book and Laura had stuck with the British duo, it being their day with her.

"So exactly how reliable is the information left inside after the vision?" Carla asked Evelyn, tapping the book in question on the table.

The elven woman paused a moment to consider the lore about the intellect spirits she knew before answering. "It should be infallible from what I know on the subject, the spirits are not capable of deceit."

"Fuck." Kim muttered.

"Does that include the future? Cause this thing goes on right up to Becca's end, and it talks about us after the tour this show is interrupting."

"That's strange." Laura interjected. "So it contains things after you get back?"

"That's the problem, well it's a problem anyways, it goes on like nothing happened."

"Though to be fair nothings been done to us so far that would be apparent from Becca's view if we didn't tell her." Kim said. She really didn't like the elf's view that the book had to be right. This couldn't be the real Tommy.

Carla shook her head. "Transformations yeah, but we'd still be in the fucken harem and the book says nothing about any of you showing up and I can't believe that."

Laura nodded. "Yeah, no way I'm not going back stage every chance I get when I'm sleeping with half the band." She smiled at the duo and got a leer from Kim and a worried nod from Carla.

"And no way Becca wouldn't see that. See what I mean? So then the Book can't be true, no?"

"Can I see it?" Evelyn asked, gesturing to the book in question.

"Yeah sure, knock yourself out." Carla said. Kim who was sitting on the table's edge passed it over, to Evelyn's credit she didn't flinch from the redhead's hand.

Evelyn took the book and quickly found the section detailing the concert in question. After a bit she continued. "I think I see the problem. The book is from Rebecca's perspective. While some things have been changed due to your initial transformation the full fallout from the show has not while Shar is holding us in this moment frozen in your world."

"And that means what?" Carla asked while Kim looked perplexed.

"Everything in the book is the truth, but only of what would have happened if you had not been taken, aside from the changes done specifically from your retroactive transformation."

Carla tried to wrap her head around this new information. "So the future it shows is just a potential without the show messing with things, but the past is one hundred percent?"

"The fuck! That piece of shit was scaring off our guitarists the whole fucking time?! He really fucking assaulted Becca?!" Laura's eye went wide hearing that.

Carla shook her head. "Worse Kim." So much more worse than Carla could tell her, that this was her husband who had been doing that. "He still potentially kills us, it's just not fact. Yet."

"What?!" Laura was on her feet. "Tommy kills the three of you? That's what's in that book?"

Evelyn, who had turned to the final pages, nodded at the harem master. "Yes, the end details more assaults thwarted each time by Miss Strange with his becoming more and more erratic. His eventual **** with a weapon that the two of you stumble upon. And the **** suicide that followed."

"Why wouldn't she fucking tell us?" Kim shook her head. "I just don't get it. Or at least the cops, her family, someone?"

"Apparently she has a hard time trusting other people, especially authorities from what the book says. Her childhood in Hong Kong was not the best."

"Didn't need to read a book to know that. She talked about some stuff, other things you could guess." Kim snorted.

Carla took the book back from Evelyn with a nod then turned to Kim. "It's worse than that, Becca's gay."

"The fuck?! She never said anything about that!"

"It's all in the book. In China the LGBT community is treated much much harsher than you can imagine. A member of a prominent wealthy family, she'd be at risk of being disappeared. It's why her family came to Britain." Carla felt sick "Why they changed their name." Why she went by a stage name and only Carla remembered Su Liang.

"She just said they had to leave suddenly, left most of their wealth behind. Didn't seem like she wanted to say that much even. Super private person Becca."

"I thought lots of the rich families still had power in Hong Kong, that the main Chinese government was treating the region with a hands off approach?" Laura said, having settled back into her throne like chair.

Carla snorted. "Sure, with The Parties approval. Which a gay scion of a major family would not have."

"You seem to know a lot about this stuff." Kim said, somewhat puzzled by Carla's geopolitical knowledge.

Carla gave Kim a hug, this was not a time for getting into her personal bullshit. "Just shit crammed into my head in school. Doesn't matter, what does is this." She held up the book where everyone could see it. "Potential future, but not now we know and when we get back Tommy is the fuck out of the band."

"I don't fucking like it, but I can't argue against it. We started Darkest Dreams together, it will kill him to get the boot."

"Better than him killing us." Carla rubbed Kim's back as she leaned into her for comfort.

"All this time you had a real, I mean another, lesbian in your band all along." Laura said, quickly trying to cover her gaff.

"Perhaps you can get Ms. Wagner to replace him." Evelyn said not really understanding the dynamics but knowing the cow woman seemed to play quite well with the others.

Carla laughed and let the tension drain out of her with the tough truths faced and decision made. "Maybe we could at that."

"Her dad would have a cow." Kim couldn't help herself and roared laughing trying to bury the pain of facing having to carve her best friend out of her life. But she wouldn't hesitate to remove even a potential threat to her love.

She'd make sure Tommy wasn't a threat to Carla, ever.

.

"I can't believe you wanted to come back here." Tracy told her twin as they wandered through the library.

"You could have gone to the gym with the others, besides none of the stupid books bothered me either time I was here. I don't see why they would now, and look the mess psycho left has already been cleaned up."

Tracy looked over at the area she'd last seen littered in books but now looked pristine. "Well sure, you can't leave a half eaten sandwich out here without it being gone by the time you turn back around. They probably had this straightened up before we were in bed."

They soon came to a section where the older Shakespearean books made way for more modern looking titles. "So just what are we looking for then?" Tracy asked finally, carefully not touching any of the books while glancing at titles.

Stacy sighed. "I really don't fucking know honestly. This just seemed a good place to find secrets."

Tracy nodded. Sure, it was plenty big enough to hide all kinds of things. Up ahead she noted a large open place among the shelves. "Might be something there."

Neither expected the large circular space among the stacks to hold a extremely large raised section of floor with what appeared to be a scale model of the castle on it.

"Well that's certainly something." Tracy quipped. "But I don't know if it counts as a secret."

Stacy shook her head. The model was huge, easily as tall as them at the high point of it's tower. "Seems a rather odd place to put it."

Tracy looked up at the skylights above them, then to the models roof. "I think this is the center of the castle."

"Are you fucking kidding me? Who puts a model of something at it's center?"

"None of the surrounding terrain though, just the castle itself." Climbing up Tracy then walked forward to peer inside the large picture window on the fifth floor. "Super detailed, I almost expected to see the others inside."

"What are you doing? Get down from there!"

"I'm not going to break anything, I'm just looking. Why have a scale model you can't see inside of anyways?"

Reluctantly Stacy climbed up with her sister. "You're looking inside it right now."

"Ha. Ha. I mean like really inside it, maybe one of the walls pulls away to give a cross section."

"I really don't think we should be messing with it." Stacy didn't like this, it felt too weird. Like if she climbed on top she'd see them under the skylight.

Tracy wandered around back, having found all the walls solid. What was even the point of this thing? Meanwhile despite her misgivings Stacy had gotten down on her knees and found the large double doors at the entrance were fully articulated and opened outwards. Peering down the hallway she found much like Tracy had that even the lamps were included, and for that matter lit. She also saw something glittering further in.

Tracy concluded her circuit of the model to find Stacy lying down with one arm shoved as far as she could into the entryway. "I don't think you fit."

"Shut up! I've almost got it." Tracy fought the urge to tickle her sister while Stacy struggled to get her arm in just a little further, finally getting a finger on something flat and sliding it out to hold triumphant. A gold card!

Queen of the Castle she saw clearly, then briefly something about ball gowns before the words became a unreadable blur. Meanwhile Tracy watched her twins Goth outfit writhe on her body like she'd gained a symbiote. "You doing okay there?"

"The words on this card won't stay still except for the title, Queen of the Castle."

"I think your cheerleader transformation is fighting it."

"Really?" Stacy said excitedly as she stood up. She wasn't sure what kind of ball gown she'd be stuck with but from the title something fit for a queen, and it had to be better than the fucking cheer shit. The card however remained in her hand while the lettering squirmed faster. "Come on ball gown, you can do it!"

Then with sudden clarity the words jumped into sharp focus again. Queen of the Castle: You will gain a tiara that lets you command another once per day.

Tracy noted the moment Stacy's outfit stopped fighting and the black metal crown appeared, the card's disappearance was almost a afterthought. "Well that was anticlimactic.

Stacy looked at her reflection in the castle's picture window, a black tiara studded with pink jewels. She was still stuck in the fucking cheer shit. Why couldn't you be a beautiful ball gown?

But that wasn't the important part. Lack of gown aside this was still a fucking treasure way better than being a giant, or a fucking cat. She wondered just how far she could push it.

It probably wouldn't work on the castle's bitch host, but maybe she could turn the tables on Laura, and if not there was still all kinds of other payback available.

Wouldn't that be fun.
