Chapter 10
by
Zebra
What will you do in a situation that threatens to you by d e a t h?
A bit of training...
Your heart races as adrenaline courses through your veins. You can't afford to let this old human get the best of you - not after he called you "kitten" and insulted everything you stand for. But how do you break past those invisible walls? And what about those enchanted armors coming at you like nightmares brought to life?
As Fo-Tzun continues his spell-casting, you take a moment to assess your surroundings. There must be something here that could help you outsmart him or find a weakness in his defenses. Perhaps there's an object, a hidden lever, anything that might give you an edge against this seemingly invincible foe.
You glance back at the two laminar armors bearing down on you, their steel blades glinting menacingly under the flickering torchlight. Sweat trickles down your forehead, but you refuse to show any signs of fear. Instead, you focus all your energy into finding a solution – fast.
With newfound determination, you scan the room once more, searching for clues or opportunities.
You spot something interesting... a wooden stand with several long poles, resembling spears. They appear to be made of a dense, dark wood that seems sturdy and strong. On a hunch, you pick up one of the poles and hold it in front of you, positioning it horizontally to act as a barrier.
As the two enchanted armors draw closer, you quickly calculate your next move. With all your strength, you swing the pole at the invisible wall, aiming to disrupt the magical energy that's keeping it in place. The wooden spear cracks against the barrier, causing a loud echo to reverberate through the room.
To your surprise, the impact on the invisible wall sends ripples through the air, briefly disorienting the armors and their animated swords. They stumble, losing their precision for a moment.
Seizing the opportunity, you dart to the side, using the confusion to your advantage. You take a chance and rush at Fo-Tzun, determined to end this once and for all. You swing the wooden pole like a whip, aiming to strike the old man directly.
Fo-Tzun, startled by your sudden attack, stumbles back, narrowly avoiding the blow. His face contorts in fear and confusion.
But the enchanted armors are quickly recovering from their brief disorientation. One of the armors swings its sword towards you with surprising speed, narrowly missing your head.
You parry the blow with the wooden pole, but it's clear that this makeshift weapon won't hold out for long against such powerful magic.
What do you do now? Do you continue to fight with the wooden pole, hoping to find another opportunity to strike Fo-Tzun? Or do you look for a new strategy to defeat the enchanted armors and break through the invisible wall? The choice is yours.
You continue to fight with the wooden pole, hoping to find another opportunity to strike Fo-Tzun. Your determination is unwavering, and you're not going to give up until you've put an end to this humiliating situation.
As you parry the blows of the enchanted armors, you keep your eyes on Fo-Tzun, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
What kind of vile magic is this?! What will you do now?
