Skyler quickens his pace upon hearing an extremely weakened breath around the next corner. He uses this moment to use a mental command to switch his Princess Zelda's Dress for his Ocean Wave Kimono. His eyes open wide upon seeing blood splattered everywhere, even the ceiling. Everyone is lying on the ground, covered in splatters of blood. None of them were moving. If he didn't know better, he would have thought that someone had created a graphic 3d display of art depicting how life is a brutal battlefield even amongst friends.

Upon taking his first step into a pool of blood, he feels a rush of energy flow through him. 50 xp His gelatinous form slurps it up, which is disturbing, interesting, and perplexing. He knew he would have been sick if he were in any other form, but he quite literally doesn't have the stomach for such a reaction. 'Ugh. Don't think about it. I just need to see if anyone is alive.' He takes another step, feeling another rush of energy flow through him as he approaches Shady's fallen form. 25 xp

Even as he approaches, her body doesn't move an inch. One of her arms was severed, laying a few feet from her. Upon closer inspection he realizes it is her right arm. He stretches his right arm to pick it up before lining it up with the rest of her arm. His left hand holds her arm in place while he tenderly touches her left cheek with his right hand. "S-Shady? Are you still in there? Come on. Wake up..." Shady's eyes open slowly. Her eyes are glazed over, revealing that she can't focus on anything. "Hrm? S-Skyler? Is that you?"

He smiles softly. "Yeah, just relax. I got you." Tears begin to well in her eyes. "I'm so blessed to be able to hear your voice before..." Just before the light from her eyes can fade, he casts Reiki Arts two times, selecting to restore 25% of her health and mana and remove vulnerabilities. 45 x 2 = 90, - 90 Mp Shady's eyelids pull back, taking a deep breath as if life is being **** throughout her entire body. Even her arm, which had been severed, had reattached itself. There is a minor scar along where her arm had been severed.

She blinks several times before wrapping her arms in a deathly vice-like grip around him and pulls him close. Her body trembles as she begins to sob uncontrollably without a single word. Her grip around the middle of his arms has his body bent all out of shape. He feels a little like a panic Pete squeeze toy within this moment. He swallows, causing a light amount of suction over every part that is touching her as well as the ground. Her soft D-cup breasts press into his gelatinous body. He can feel his loins stir as a few perverse thoughts run through his mind.

Although he wants to enjoy this moment with her. There are others nearby that are in critical condition too. He rests his chin gently on top of her head. "As much as I would like to continue enjoying this moment, I think we should help the others first." She sniffles before glancing at the others who are lying motionlessly on the ground. "Oh," She loosens her grip around him, causing his body to wobble back into shape as she wipes away her tears. "right." She rises to her feet. "I'll start my chant. I would appreciate it if you would bring everyone close together."

He does as she asks, bringing Taki, Daiki, Rodovar, Emily, Cyanis, Nepeta, and a few of Taki's warriors together. Although astonishingly weak, he can hear each of them breathing. As he does this, he steps into another seven pools of blood, causing his experience to increase even more. 13 + 9 + 32 + 19 + 4 + 6 + 3 = 86, 86 xp He notices two weird looking mushrooms rooted in a pool of blood that was in between Cyanis and Nepeta. These mushrooms look sickly and unreal due to their black glowing caps with a black sludge oozing from the midpoint of their caps down about an inch from their rims. He casts Observe on them.

He can't believe what he is seeing. 'I am so keeping these!' He reaches for one of them but upon squeezing it a little bit too hard as he pulls it up, he absorbs it unintentionally. A notification appears in the center of his view.

He looks at that notification. 'Hmm, that's what I get for being too forceful. I wonder what full absorption will get me.' Although he can see that Shady is almost finished chanting, he focuses his attention on the other mushroom. 'I hope whatever this gives me is better than the crafting reagents would have been.' He is a little gentler with the other mushroom, allowing him to pick it up and look it over. 'It's actually kind of pretty.' He squeezes a little harder by mistake, absorbing it instantly, resulting in two notifications appearing.

Sends out 3 spores x lvl that cause enemies to mistake their allies for foes.

Lasts 30 seconds x lvl.

Myconid Master Form lvl 1

Cost: 275 Mp

All damage taken increased by 50%

20% increase to Strength, Endurance, and Agility for the duration.

Duplicate Spores - range 5 yd

Cost: 20 Mp

Send out 2 spores x lvl that will rapidly grow into perfect copies of yourself that will act independently of the original.

Copies cannot attack you and deal 50% of your damage. Limit of 4 copies x lvl.

He looks over each option carefully. 'They are all nice in their own way, but I don't like the idea of taking extra damage.' Before he can make a decision, he is simultaneously glomped by Cyanis and Nepeta. Cyanis hugs him tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay!" Nepeta nuzzles his side gently while hugging him fairly tightly. "Me too." Cyanis then punches his left shoulder. 20 - 50% (Soft hit) = 10, 10 - (75% reduction (Slime Form) + 11% reduction (Mana Resilience)) = 1 (1.4), - 1 Hp "That's for making us worry!" Nepeta nods while glaring at him, "Yeah!" the sound of her voice was cutely soft for how expressive and angry she was.

He smiles weakly. "Sorry about that. You had me worried too." He rubs the top of Nepeta's head while gently patting Cyanis' right cheek. Cyanis' cheeks turn dark brown. "You had us worried first..." She starts to pout, looking down at the ground before stealing a glance at him. He had a feeling he had seen this sort of thing in online manhwas and mangas he had read before. However, he knew that even if this were the type of situation he had seen before, taking advantage of an emotional situation like this would only breed disaster in the future.

He looks toward Nepeta. Her cheeks are light pink within this moment. He smiles warmly and hugs them gently. "I'm glad you're both okay." They nod in unison as they hug him in return. 'I don't know what the future will bring. But, I would like to enjoy this little moment just a little longer.' His eyes close, allowing the world to become blocked from view. 'Hmm, so that is what happens when I mentally close my eyes.' Now that he has a moment, he has a choice to make. Should he choose Myconid King, Lord, or Master Form?
