"Tempting as it may be, I'm afraid I'll have to refuse that offer." He smiles.

Still flushed with embarrassment at having to ask that question, Helena nods. "Enjoy your room. I'll make breakfast for you when you wake up in the morning, if you want?"

Hal grins and the prospect of another fresh cooked meal, "I'd love that"

The ranger enters his new room, closing the door behind him. It is a large room, sparsely decorated, yet still comfortable. A large bed sits underneath a window, and embers glow in the fireplace across from it. Hal unclasps his cloak, tossing it over a chair, before beginning to remove most of his other travelling clothes. Soon there is a large pile next to him, whilst he is stood in his shirt and breeches. Most of his weapons are no longer strapped to him, but there is still a dagger on his belt. Hal glances in the mirror on the wall, where he sees the dirt on his face. "You need to wash." He mutters to himself.

Walking out of the room, careful to lock the door behind him, Hal glances around, quickly spotting a washroom for the use of customers on his floor. He enters the washroom, which turns out to be empty. The washroom is simple, with a large wooden tub and a stone fireplace to heat the water in the bath. Hal crouches next to the fireplace, tossing a few logs on it, before striking his dagger against the provided flint, quickly producing a crackling flame. He waits a few minutes for the water to begin steaming before undressing fully, and climbing in the bath. The ranger scrubs himself clean, spending far longer than necessary relaxing in the hot bath. By the time he finally climbs out, the water has gone tepid and his fingers look like they should belong to an old man. He walks over to his discared clothes, retrieving his dagger from its sheath, before grabbing a hand mirror and sitting in front of the fire. Using the mirror as his guide, he begins to shave the light stubble from his face, until once again he looks presentable. Finally dry, Hal redresses, walking back to his room. He glances out of the windows, where the sun has long since disappeared, giving way to the moon, and with it, night.

He stretches, running a hand through his hair as he pulls the covers back, climbing into the bed. He stops, leaning over to grab Woden's letter from his satchel, which he reads through once again, before putting it away once again. Reading the letter reminds Hal of all of the things he was trained to do, from survival skills like hunting and how to care for a horse, to battle training such as swordsmanship and archery. One such training was how to fall asleep quickly, regardless of the enviroment. Woden taught him to relax his entire body, one limb at a time, and to breathe slowly and rhythmically. Of course, the next lesson was how to sleep lightly, one which Hal did not master quite as quickly. He smiles at the memory, before getting comfortable in bed and soon falling asleep.
