Enough

I walked into Clara's home with Kat following behind me. The one mercy was that since I was compelled to return here that meant the party was **** to end as a result, and least for me. I was able to speak and act as I wanted again. The first thing I did is took off the engagement ring and tossed it in a random direction. OMG at least I was able to do that! Thank god!

"Kat, seems we can take them off," I said.

She looked at hers. "Won't he punish us?"

"Yeah," Clara said from the kitchen. She was serving up food onto some plates. "He probably will. Want me anything major like today but yeah probably."

"Kat," I said. "You can't let him win." I reached for her hand but she just recoiled and held it away from me.

"I'm sorry Tessa but I can't! I just. Please. I don't wanna be punished anymore," she said tears forming.

"I... no I should be sorry," I said. "I don't care if he punishes me. He can **** me to kiss the entire cheerleader squad if he wants. At least that is something he has to make me do. I won't be caught doing what he wants like this."

"Tessa," Clara said. "I think that is a bad idea. The one thing I know about the winners is they adapted. The game gets harder the more punishments you have. You-"

"Shut up okay!" I shouted. "It's bad enough I am already stuck in this dress and nails. I can't even go get a change of clothes until tomorrow! I am not wearing that ring when he isn't even around."

"I can go get your clothes," Kat said. "I... I can't help much... but I can... do that at least."

"Kat," I said. "I'd like that. I got this yearbook you should grab while your in my room. Don't look at it though. It is gross, but bring it okay?"

"Okay," she mumbled.

"Dinner will be ready by the time you get back," Clara said.
