The Rose of Highgarden

The Rose of Highgarden

The Tyrells had certainly brought the weather with them as the storms had eased and Storm's End and its gardens were now enjoying the late summer sun. You plucked a rose from the garden and walked to meet you betrothed.

"I'm surprised anything grows here my Prince," Margaery said a slight red colouring to her cheeks and a small smile grew as she saw you handed her the rose. "That's very sweet of you, my grandmother was worried you'd be very stern like your father."

Margaery clearly wasn't coy and that was a pleasant change after all the highborn maidens that you were used to.

"Honestly the weather is good today compared to what it has been, you must've brought the sun with you," You said as Margaery sniffed at the rose.

"You must let me show you Highgarden after we wed and the war is over, I love the sun and playing around the flowers with my cousins," Margaery said doing a spin with her arms out before playfully placing her arms around your right arm.

You spent the next hour or so watching the waves crash against the coast and walking through the small garden and then what had once been a godswood. Melisandre had burnt the weirwood trees after the taking of Storm's end and their ashes still remained.

Margaery ignored that and the religious problems that were quite an elephant in the room. You weren't sure what religion or what gods to believe. It meant very little to you anyway when you had a beautiful young maiden on your arm, but you knew that your father was now quite adamant in his faith to the Lord of Light.

"I will make a good wife for you my prince," Margaery said abruptly breaking the slow crashing sound of waves against the rocks.

"I'm sure you will," You said looking up and down your bride to be, she was extremely beautiful and so far you had found her to be good natured. You felt your cock stiffen a little in your britches as you admired her but tried to think about other things. It wouldn't be long till the wedding and the bedding something that you were very much looking forward to.
