Well, am I?
True. I'm not looking for a relationship right now.
"You're right," I said.
She nodded, my confirmation just what she thought.
"I mean, you're an amazing woman, Kayla, and we were good together, but I am still not ready to settle down just yet. I'm only 23."
She shrugged, her bouncy breasts jiggling distractingly.
Briefly, I remembered who I had been just five days prior to this. Even a smile from a babe like her would have fueled months of furious masturbation and nervous thoughts of romance.
"I'm happy you told me how you feel," I said, "It's refreshing. Many chicks would have tried to change me."
"Well, I'm happy we can talk about it honestly and openly," she replied. "It's nice to be among adults who can express their feelings and goals in an honest way."
"I agree," I said.
She gathered her stuff and put her handbag over her shoulder. I guessed this was it, but she leaned over and whispered: "Now, discreetly follow me, and I'll give you a goodbye present."
Perplexed, I sat there for a few seconds, watching her walk downstairs, before almost jumping up, causing some mild interest from nearby tables. I ignored them.
There were three doors at the bottom of the stairs. Men, women and wheelchair accessible. Strange to put the latter at the bottom of some stairs, I thought, but noticed the door was slightly ajar.
