Trying to make friends?

There were armed soldiers with horses and some dogs. I also spotted some beast kin among them tho they looked like domesticated breeds of dog and as most people do with such animals it looked like they had been removed from the gene pool… I was rather disappointed to learn that was a thing but I guess I understood it after all if a beast kin can impregnate a human then the females around aren’t going to feel safe with one around. Strangely enough they and the normal dogs were both afraid of me? When they both noticed me they stopped making any noice and hid behind there human masters. The humans on the other hand…. Well some put there hands on there weapons and others look like there were going to use abilities until mark called out a hail and then a man in brightly colored armor stepped forward judging by his armor he was the commander… he looked like a fucking peacock they had a hushed conversation. Something along the lines of

Commander: how dare you try to bring a monster into these lands

Mark: I am Markes Marcovius my family owns these lands and all that is in them. Do you question my decision?

Commander: n no sir but wolf beast kin are dangerous and have been known to kidnap woman and children and sometimes even eat people

Mark: your concerns are noted commander but we are going to take him to my place of residence and we have more pressing information there is a goblin and orc army amassing 10 days from her we counted them at 600 or more with 100 or more captives and they had wargs as well. Post you messengers and skilled soldiers in the border towers and wait for reinforcements send word if you see any monsters or anything out of the ordinary

Commander: may I send some of my soldiers to escort you and umm your pet to your estate my lord

Mark:……. You may but only 2

I tried adding some of the other beast kin and solders to my pack so I could use them to monitor the borders but…. It turns out if they harbored negative emotions towards you, you cant add that creature to your pack unless you befriend them. The commander picked 2 soldiers a large man maybe in his 25 to 27 that the commander said was tall Jack and he was basically as tall as me and the other was a female she had red hare and the commander just called her may. At the risk of sounding rude she was average in every way but she really didn’t want to go with us but the commander just told her. Obey my orders and fallow them and then go to the fort in town and tell them what has transpired. she hung her head but obeyed. The rest of the soldiers left and I decided that I would try to calm the big guy. Ones the other patrol was out of sight I walked over to Jack and slowly leaned in to him sniffing at him… I could smell fear on him. He was frozen in it so I whined and gave his arm a lick then walked away and sat down. Both of the guards looked at me a bit confused but not all to overly sure what that was

May: are we sure that thing is a wolf?

Jack: that’s what the magic tool says. See look

May:… ok I guess none of us have seen a lone wolf beast kin before

Elizabeth: umm we found him alone running from goblins in the woods it would seem his pack was wiped out and he has evolved into an alpha so his personality may be in part a result of him making us his pack and thinking you are here as outcast pack members wanting to join his pack? This is only a hypothesis I am putting forward

May: o great he is an alpha…. Have I mentioned that bringing a possible calamity class pack creature into these lands is a crazy bad idea?

Jack: I think the commander said something like that

May: sigh let’s go

Lilly: that’s only if he had a pack of wolves with him he is the last of his pack Elizabeth checked when he was sleeping using magic

May: sigh well that’s I little better

I only had 5 days before we got to marks manner so it may not be possible but I figured no harm in trying to get Jack and may into my pack worst possibility is I fail and they leave so as we traveled I would do nice and cute things as they watched I made a flower crown then set it on mays head she tore it off and scolded me I just looked at her and tilted my head I picked up jacks pack and carried it for a few hours I did the same with mays pack tho both seemed uneasy when I did so. Finally it was time to set up camp and get my less than tasty treat. But this time may and Jack fallowed me and I was the only one getting a does today. They watched me make it and drink it and for the rest of the evening one of them was by my side at all times so I didn’t get the chance to get ride of it and about an hour and a half later
