Cassie’s Plan

Cassie got the text from Mel saying Charlie was on his way as well as a picture of Charlie leaving out of her apartment. Cassie knew this wasn’t enough for their ultimate plan for **** since she always knew Charlie was an alias, not his real name. Cassie turned to Sophie, who was learning the intricacies of Naked Forever having turned Laura into a goldfish and then into a mermaid.

Sophie’s logical part of her brain, that had been locked up for the past day, couldn’t understand how this was even possible but it was happening. She asked Cassie the most important question she could think of, “Do you think my friends are really happy? Laura looked happy despite all of the weird requests I had…It’s so hard to tell.”

Cassie said, “I can’t really say, Sophie. I’m my mind I like to think they are even if they are completely brainwashed they are still truly happy and living luxuriously above their means.” Cassie hoped that answer had sufficed and also said, “Mel texted me that Charlie knows where we are and is coming for you. I think I have a plan but it is going to require for you to go back with him.”

Sophie was quiet as she spoiled her friends with tons of credits before saying her goodbyes. She turned to her savior and said, “Cassie, from everything you have told me…you have been dealing with the asshole much longer than any of us have so me having to spend one more day with him so that we can have our **** is something I can manage. What do I need to do?”

Cassie smiled and understood why Sophie was the only one to figure out Naked Ambition’s evil intentions. Now that Sophie was back to her normal, levelheaded self this was going to work. Cassie said, “The plan is for you to leave here and wander around aimlessly on the sidewalk outside of my apartment. Charlie should find you very easily and he will suspect that I did something to you. This is where you act your ass off, Sophie. You are still the mindless fucktoy that panders to every one of Charlie’s needs and explain that you got away from me once I started saying bad things about Charlie since I was a liar.”

Sophie listened intently and asked, “What if he tries to check his phone for the score or tries to come up here looking for you?”

Cassie said, “Plead for him to leave right that second and make him focus only on you even if you have to run away from him too. It’s going to be close but Charlie should be so close to a mental breakdown that you might have him snap by running away. You need to trap him somewhere like on a bus and that is where you’ll pull out the nuke. You will throw out ‘How am I supposed to trust you? I don’t even know your real name, master.’ Charlie’s fortitude should be so worn down from all of today’s run-ins and I expect him to slip up especially with you, Sophie.”

Sophie’s brain was memorizing everything that Cassie had told her and asked, “Do you have a phone I can use? I don’t expect to use your phone but I am sure you have backups considering how much work you have been putting in over the last few months.”

Cassie smirked and thought, (This girl’s intelligence is dangerous and I’m happy she’s on our side.) She went over to a drawer and pulled out a smaller phone. She got it up and running onto the page of Naked Ambition with everything filled out for Charlie except his actual name. She handed it over to Sophie and said with a smile, “The rest is up to you, Agent Sophie.”

Sophie giggled and took the phone before saying, “I’ll say I took your phone from you if he gets suspicious but I won’t hand it over to him ever. I’m pretty good at running away from creeps like him.”

Sophie looked at Cassie and said, “I don’t know how to say this…” Cassie put a finger to her lips and stopped her.

She spoke and said, “Let’s save it for once we take Charlie down. Instead let’s do this: Hi! I’m Cassie it is very nice to meet you.” She offered a hand and Sophie shook it with a giggle.

Sophie said, “I’m Sophie! It’s very nice to meet you too. I’m gonna run out of here now to really get my heart rate going and set the mood for Charlie.”

Cassie smiled and said, “You got this, Sophie!”

Cassie saw her dash out of the door and said a little prayer for her as Sophie was once again on her own.
