Remember kicking out AWIO? Yeah, about that....

A while after your confrontation with Emily, you are called into your office for a meeting. Such a thing is not abnormal by any means. You kiss each of your girls goodbye for the day before grabbing your stuff and heading out.

You head into your office and plug in, looking to get to work, but your computer seems to be having some issues getting you logged in. Luckily, your boss swings by nice and early.

"Hey, good morning Boss. Was just getting started here, looks like the computer is having issues. I'll have to call the help desk." You say.

"Don't worry about that. Just leave it there, we have our meeting coming up." Your boss says as he nods with his head.

"Alright, sure." You say as you follow your boss into a conference room. Inside are two other people, one you recognize as the security guard.

"What's going on?" You ask.

"Well Jack. You've been in Government work for a while. You should know we have to play well with other agencies. Especially one as big as AWIO. So as much as I like you, we have to let you go."

"Yeah. Figured Emily had some contacts like that. I did what I had to do. If it was Arowyn, you'd do the same thing." You reply.

"Can't say I would, Jack." Your boss replies.

"Thought I knew you." You reply.

"Well, the guard here will see you to your desk and get you a box. Take care, Jack."

"Goodbye." You say, walking out of the conference room and back to your desk. A box has already been supplied. You spend a few minutes packing your personal belongings before handing the guard your badge and walking out the door.

Damn. At the Department of Redundancy Department... You just got made redundant. Now what will you do? Having a Masters of Cybersecurity and a CISSP opened doors, but pissing off AWIO probably closed more than you know. You could always just focus on getting Molly's budding career off the ground, or explore other options.
