It REALLY pours

Authors note: So really quick I wanna explain that I have VERY little understanding or knowledge about most of these characters, most info I make use of comes from my sibling that knows FAR more about the lore than I do. Any references to others story lines are ACCIDENTAL as I haven't gotten to sit down and read a comic book in well over 15 years at least.

Zane POV

With all the calls coming in requesting aid Tony wanted to try and split up, I was sent with Natasha to check on the Fantastic Four while Steve and Tony would go try and help Luke. Flying with Natasha in my arms was certainly an interesting experience, she had wanted to take an aircraft but I offered to fly us there instead so she grabbed onto me and we took off. Now here I am, flying through the air, with a thick redhead in a tight suit in my arms, her arms wrapped around my neck as she held on. I had to remind myself of what was happening a couple times so I wouldn't end up flying with a bulge, that was just the kind of picture I needed someone to look up and take...

We got there thankfully without anything happening, only to see Robot's in green tunics running around blasting at Sue as she held them off with her **** fields, blocking their entry into a room. Natasha immediately ran into action trying to help deal with these things as I used my clones to swarm the robot men, using my ability to fly to get over to Sue, bringing up my own shield to give her a break. The firepower of these bots was more than expected but thankfully my shield was able to sustain their hits. Sue heading back into the room behind her, telling me not to let them inside, before she closed the door I caught sight of her and Reeds children hiding in the room. So I held my place, kept the shield up as my clones began to quickly overwhelm and break down the bots. It took us a good 15 minutes to work through the bots, meanwhile a woman in a green cape and gold armor grabbed hold of the Nth metal she could find, only a single piece by the looks of it before leaping out the window and being carried away by a pair of robots that flew her away. We managed to break the last bot right before we noticed her flying off. I opened the door and let Sue know that it seemed to be safe, we went looking around and shortly found where Johnny, Ben and Reed were gathered around, throwing the robots into a slowly growing pile of scrap metal.

"The Nth metal?" Reed asked, only for Sue to nod her head. Read sighing a moment as Johnny and Ben moved to make sure the last of the bots were broken, Sue and Reed holding their kids as they calmed down bit by bit. Natasha spoke up first. "Those were doombots... Victor has the Nth metal?" Sue shook her head in response, holding a small bag in her hand that became visible as she handed it over to the redhead. "Only getting one piece will likely satisfy him for now, but believing that we don't have anymore will keep him from coming back for awhile. I'll raise the defenses of the building and keep it on high alert for the time being." Reed explained, stepping away with a look of determination on his face as he went to work, meanwhile Sue wasn't too happy to see her home broken into, again. She made it clear just how much she'd like to pay Victor back for this home invasion, Natasha then revealed how others are calling for help too. "Zane? Can you head out on your own? I'll need to stay here for the time being. Tony and Steve can help Cage, see wherever else you can help alright?" I nodded my head in response, carefully flying out and heading towards where Miles had asked for help. At least this can't get worse...

Norman POV

Targets acquired. It's only been little over a half hour since the attacks hit, and already we're getting ready to leave. We need to be fast, those hero's will have a handle on things soon enough. "Hurry up! Get these four back to Sinister immediately!" I growled out at the mercenary's as they carried the stasis pods onboard, the door closing up minutes later as the craft took off. It was done... Mission accomplished. Now I was free to do as I wished... First things first, I needed to return to my laboratory...

Zane POV

I flew my way towards the point Miles had asked for help at, followed a trail of destruction where I saw Miles fighting against a huge orange DINOSAUR?! Peter I saw trying to avoid getting impaled on the horn, was that Rhino? No... it looked different, felt off... I flew down right as Peter was smacked into the ground, managing to get under this beast and fire off a green/blue combo of Impact palm. The **** sending this new Rhino flying back as Peter picked himself up. "So who is this? Rhino's cousin?" I asked as Peter looked at me more seriously. "It's Chameleon! He's taken over Rhino's body. It's like it's even STRONGER now too. He's calling himself GORE now..." Peter explained as we both heard Gore start laughing, before dropping into a monologue.

EMERGENCY MESSAGE! Due to interference -I'll punish the one responsible soon enough- a power meant to be unlocked sooner was hidden away. It will be unlocked now. Apologies for the delay.
New ability unlocked: Appraisal. Use on people to learn more about them, on items to learn about who made them or what their for, or on places to possibly discover hidden locations.

I wasn't gonna waste any time, a new toy to play with? Might as well put it to work right? So I used it, aiming it at Gore.
Name: Gore LVL: 150 Class: Rogue/Fighter Damage type: Bludgeoning, piercing.
Special Abilities: Able to shape shift itself into smaller sizes and take on other appearances in order to infiltrate different locations. Enhanced strength. WARNING through use of Special Ability can compress it's muscles to magnify it's strength further!
Additional info: Hybrid experiment of Mr Sinister, Rhino's mind has been destroyed through extensive experimentation, Chameleon now has sole control over the body. Chameleon's aggressive tendencies have been raised as a result of the experiments.

My eyes widened at what I saw, seeing as it was still mid monologue I sent a quick invite to Pete. "Accept it quick, you need to read this..." I heard him gasp as he read what I had. "Alexei... You didn't deserve this..." I heard him say under his breath, a sound of sadness in his voice. "Focus up web head. I agree he didn't deserve this, but we need to put this guy away FAST. Others are in trouble too." I barely caught sight of Peter's nod as the monologue ended and Gore charged at us again. "Go high!" I let out as I dropped my body low and hit the ground with an Impact palm, the energy traveling out in a wave that cracked the street into pieces and made it unstable, Gore tripping up a moment before Peter slingshot himself straight at the monster Chameleon was now. Peter smashed a stomping kick into Gore's chest and knocked him onto his back, I used my flight to launch myself forward managing to use my Energy fists combo to start beating Gore into the ground. Gore was more durable than expected and managed to kick me back, at his size his strength still was only a bit more than Rhino's thankfully, I only got sent back first into a car, the two doors I landed in between snapping open only to fold and slam into my body from either side.

Fucking OW... It took me a minute to get free of the car, when I did I saw Gore had hold of Pete by an arm and a leg, trying to pull him apart like a rotisserie chicken. "I don't have fucking TIME for this!" I growled out just as the Omega Beams fired from my eyes, going around Peter's body as Gore moved to put him in the path of the beams. Gore yelled out in pain and dropped Peter though, the beams searing into his lower back as they had curled down only to swing upwards into his core. Miles suddenly was thrown into Peter a moment later, that Orange dinosaur roaring out. I fired off another Appraise.

Name:Vincent Stegron LVL:150 Class: Barbarian Damage type: Bludgeoning, biting, slashing.
Special Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, agility, reflexes.
Additional info: Vincent injected himself with a similar serum as Dr Connor's Lizard Serum, only with Dinosaur DNA instead. After having been experimented on by Mr Sinister, his body has developed additional spikes, his hide hardening further, as well as his aggression being turned up even higher.

Peter and Miles got up, Miles joined the party, and both were able to see the screens for these two big bastards. "Zane, can you handle Gore? Miles and I can deal with Steggy." I nodded my head and turned towards Gore, "Not a problem, I got something new I needed to test out anyways..." With that I walked towards Gore as it started yelling at me to get out of the way or suffer the same fate of Spider-man. He growled out before charging towards me as a new combo activated, Red/White energy covering my body as I felt lighter. A moment later and I saw Gore's horn trying to spear into my chest, I moved faster than he or I expected stepping around his charge and throwing a haymaker against his body. He smirked for a moment thinking it would do nothing to him, his smirk was gone when my blow landed though. I watched as Gore was sent FLYING, smashing through the wall of a condemned building and out the other side before skidding along the ground. I flew over to see him slowly climbing back up, just managing to stand as I flew in and kicked him in the back of the head like I had flipped forward. A moment later and he'd gone from upright to being planted face first into concrete...

I stood there for a minute looking down at him as he wasn't moving, from there I checked for a pulse and sighed out, glad I hadn't killed him. I got up and started to look for something to bind him with, only to suddenly leap to the side as he ran past me. I got a good look at him and saw his body was smaller now, more compact, like Chameleon's normal size. His armored body blew through the dilapidated building with ease a moment later... I watched as he realized just how much stronger he was now that he'd shrunken down, bracing myself as I watched him grab onto a nearby Semi truck and with one hand HURL it at me like he was throwing a snowball! Good news I dodged it, bad news, he was understanding and getting used to his new strength, I had to end this fast before he fully got used to it... So with my new combo I launched myself at him, I wasn't expecting my new combo to be so effective, I was in his face in a blink, my fists smashing into his body as I felt one of his ribs CRACK under the ****. I got out of his reach quickly, but I didn't stop the attack, side stepping and continuing to use my martial arts to try and injure him further and further. I didn't want him dead but I couldn't let him stay on the loose, not like this.

It took nearly 5 straight minutes of beating him down for him to finally lose consciousness, I collapsed to my knee's a minute later, gasped for breath as my new combo ran out. A screen pull up later and I saw that it was a muscle enhancing ability called Close Combat, one that would increase my speed, strength and agility by a very large amount, unfortunately it wouldn't work for very long and would exhaust my body if I used it too much. My body hurt just from that first use... then again this guy was 50 levels higher than me. I'd barely gotten a few minutes to recover when I saw the Spiders managing to beat back and capture Stegron. "Please... tell me it was just these two..." I managed to pant out as I caught up to the other two, both Miles and Peter holding their bodies in pain. "Oh man I WISH! Unfortunately there's several other attacks that we'll need to deal with." Peter explained as I used Red Medic to try and recover the damages we'd all taken as well as get rid of the exhaustion, we were just about ready to head out again when we hear a loud animal like roar...
