Looking back to the tower, you make your decision...
You decide to simply enter the tower through the door.
You carefully pull the door open to get a better look inside. The door practically falls off its hinges as you open it, collapsing into a pile of soft, moldy wood. The poor thing needed to be put out of its misery anyway. You easily step over the remains and enter the tower stairway.
One last climb is all that separates you from the succubus now.
