Having her prove her commitment to her treatment

"There that wasn't so hard now was it?" Kellerman asked as he held Batgirl's mask in his hand. It had taken a lot of time and effort for the doctor to earn Batgirl's trust but finally, all his hard work was paying off.

Not only had he been able to get Batgirl to let him remove her mask but his influence over her had grown to the point that the voice inside of her had been losing its influence more and more over time.

Kellerman had told his patient that the voice was a sign of her delusions in truth it was Batgirl's mind trying to fight its way free. Fortunately for the doctor, the medication he had been giving Batgirl had been working like a charm. Using a mixer of antipsychotics and Scarecrow's fear gas formula the doctor had developed the perfect medication for Batgirl. Not only had the medicine successfully altered Batgirl's grasp on reality but due to its addictive nature Batgirl no longer had the urge to resist taking her daily dosages.

"No it wasn't doctor," Batgirl said as she answered her doctor's question. "In fact, once you removed the mask the voice went completely silent," she said feeling more confident of the decision she had made.

These words were just what the doctor had hoped to hear. The removal of Batgirl's mask had proven to be a small yet important step in the treatment of his patient but if they were to move forward Kellerman needed to see just how truly committed his patient was to her treatment. It was one thing for Batgirl to let him remove her mask now though he wanted to see how far she'd go to get better.

"I'm glad to hear that my dear" Kellerman reassuring said to his patient. "You have come a long way and I'm proud of you but for our next step I need you to show me how committed you truly are to getting better," the doctor said with his one hand still on her leg.

"How do I do that?" Batgirl asked her doctor awaiting his guidance.

"I'm glad you asked," Kellerman said as he reached into his pocket pulling out his coms.

"Nurse could you please bring me in what we discussed earlier," Kellerman said as he pressed down on his coms.

"Right away doctor" a female nurse answered the coms.

"As we wait let me explain what is about to happen," the doctor said kneeling back down towards his patient his knees sore from the pain of kneeling on them.
