Chapter 330 by Samus1001 Samus1001

What's next?

The distant sounds of church bells

"So what do you think?" Kathy said as she ran a brush through her hair.

Caleb put his shaving kit away while he thought about Kathy's request. He picked his watch up out of the drawer he kept it in when he showered and held it up so she could see the seconds hand still spinning.

She nodded in understanding as he put it on. His latest normalities hadn't resolved themselves yet. "Now isn't a good time to be adding more complications to the world. Besides, I don't know if I like the idea of having more than one wife. You are special to me Kat."

Kathy held his robe out to him and said, "I'd still be special even if you had hundreds of wives. I'm your Harem Queen."

Caleb took his robe from her and put it on. "If, and I mean if... If I create a normality so that I can have multiple wives, there is no way you're talking me into having hundreds."

Kathy grabbed his robe and pulled him to her. Looking up at him as she pressed her tits into him she said, "Ok, maybe not hundreds, but you could take a couple dozen. Start with our moms, and Angie, Lori, and Sonia. Counting me that's a half dozen. Your average family is one man and three or four women so it wouldn't be that unusual. You'd just be married to all of us and not just one."

Caleb looked away. She was giving him a puppy dog look and he wasn't sure he could resist, especially after her strip tease, titty fuck, and then another fuck in the shower. "What about the rest of my harem Kat? And we need to sit down and figure out what all is different since I made those reality changes last night. I wiped over eighty percent of men from existence. Doesn't that bother you?"

Kathy put her forehead against his chest and grunted, "Ugh... Caleb, I've never known a time when the number of men was roughly equal to the number of women. It doesn't bother me because I can't wrap my head around the concept. I've only ever known this uneven six to one ratio. My memories changed because I wasn't there when you made the normality. Sure, it would be great not to have a world wide cum shortage, and I guess having enough men to play contact sports or join the military would be a good thing. It's not really fair that women have to sign up for the draft and men don't have to. But you can't change the world back the way it was, we already figured that out. I want to make the world better, and making it so you can have more wives would do that. It would certainly make the harem happy."

Caleb kissed the top of her head and said, "Only for the women I marry, but what about the rest of them. I would be cheating them out of having a husband."

Kathy kept her head against Caleb's chest and sighed. If she wanted him to give in, she needed to give a little push and eliminate his objections one by one.

She felt a wave of nausea and her head spun for a second, but it went away as quickly as it came on.

“My love, most of those women would never have a husband anyway. They all love you. They aren’t going anywhere unless you kick them out. I don’t want to be your only wife. It’s not fair to the rest of the harem. My dad had four wives before he got sick and-“

Caleb urgently shouted, “What did you just say?!”

Kathy looked up at him and saw his astonishment. She cocked her head in confusion and said, “It’s not fair to only have one wife. My dad had four.”

Caleb’s eyes widened. Kathy’s memories had changed again. He looked down at his watch and saw the seconds hand had finally stopped spinning wildly. “Oh shit… Kat... We have a problem.”

"They're doing it again."

"What? Having sex?"

"No, although you can smell fresh cum in the bedroom. They are in the bathroom speaking in that weird language they use when they are alone."

June dried her hands on one of the kitchen towels and said, "I'll go get them. Honestly, you can interrupt them when they are doing that. They can just pick up their conversation later. You girls just get dinner on the table and let Chloe know to ring the dinner bell."

Mary looked over by sink as she picked up a platter and said, "Amelia, June forgot her engagement rings again."

Amelia walked over and picked them up saying, "I should hide these and see how long till she notices they are missing. That will teach her a lesson."

Hazel grabbed another platter and said, "Mom has always taken her rings off when she cooks or does dishes. Even when she was still married to dad. Back when they were newly weds the diamond in mom's ring came out while she was making dinner and she nearly lost it. Ever since then she has taken them off so it wont happen again."

Amelia put the rings in her apron pocket and said, "Oh, ok. That makes sense then. She still shouldn't leave them out like this. Caleb and I looked really hard to find the perfect engagement rings for her."

Heather grabbed another platter and said, "Hey Mom, has Caleb set a date for their wedding yet?"

Amelia felt a tingle go down her spine as Heather called her mom. It still sounded new to her ears, but she enjoyed it immensely. "No honey, Caleb wants June and me to enjoy our own married life before they get married. Besides, we have to get past Caleb and Kathy's wedding first. He can't marry anyone else until he makes Kathy the principal wife."

Angie was confused about that and said, "I don't get it. I mean I know why Caleb insists on marrying Kathy first, but it's not like it's really important what order he marries his wives in. He can just switch who his principal wife is later. People do it all the time."

Mary chimed in as they made their way to the dining room with the platters of food. "Angie hon, it's a little more complicated than that. I'm sure Caleb doesn't want Kathy to be a subordinate wife when they marry. And she would be until they registered their marriage and changed legal titles. If he married June or anyone else first, they would automatically be the principal wife until the paperwork declaring the change went through."

Angie set her platter down on the buffet and looked at her engagement ring sitting around her finger beside her harem ring. She sighed and said, "I get it. I just wish they would hurry up. I can't wait until our own wedding. I've been waiting for Caleb to ask me to marry him for years and now that he has I can't wait for the day."

Mary looked at her own engagement ring. It sparkled in the light and seeing it set goosebumps up her arm. "I know the feeling. Mark and I didn't have a fancy ceremony or anything, we couldn't afford it, and I was his last wife so I didn't get to welcome anyone else into our marriage. I'm glad there are so many of us, but I hope Caleb doesn't marry me last. I wanna be standing up there with him when he marries the rest of you."

Brandy put her arm around her mother and said, "He won't Mom. He hasn't asked me or the rest of the harem to marry him yet. I'll bet you Kathy won't let him stop at just a few wives either. Give it a year or two and we'll all have an engagement ring to keep our harem rings company."
