The man's grin widened, and he shoved me back. "What's the matter, kid? Can't handle a little fun?"

I clenched my fists, ready to fight, but the woman at the desk intervened, her voice sharp. "That's enough! This is a respectable establishment, and we don't tolerate such behavior. Leave them alone or get out!"

The man sneered but backed off, muttering under his breath as he returned to his table. I turned to Jasmine, my heart pounding. "Are you okay?"

I turned to Jasmine, awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck. "I'll sleep on the ground," I offered.

Jasmine looked at the bed and then back at me, a tired smile on her face. "Alright, if you don't mind. It's been a long day."

"Not at all," I replied, not wanting to get in an awkward boner moment during the night.

I grabbed an extra blanket from the closet and spread it on the floor, making a makeshift bed for myself. As I lay down, the events of the day finally caught up with me.
