Chapter 3 by Tnaisawesome Tnaisawesome

Where do I go now?

To Delta

Shit. I had no idea what was happening, but I couldn’t help but get excited! If this was a real life game, I would be sure to give it my full attention for the next week. I had no idea how it could affect reality, but I couldn't deny what I had witnessed.

I quickly put on my best jeans and shirt, sighed at my uncoolness and left for the party. Getting there was easy. It was near campus, so it was also close to my room. Knowing my kind, I had a hunch there wouldn’t be that many hot girls there, but I _knew _that the ones actually present would probably be _desperate _for some sex. I could feel the increased confidence rushing through my body. It was a good opening play.

I got there just before 11pm. The place – a fraternity-like house – was pretty crowded, mostly with younger students who were new to the city. These parties were good if you wanted to get to know the people in your class, which most people sort of got tired of after the first year. Some faces were familiar, though. For the first twenty minutes I mingled, saying hello to acquaintances and surprised friends, while actually scanning the female crowd. The girls weren’t all bad looking, but there weren’t that many of the prettier ones, and not everyone was in their best shape.

After judging my options and odds, I decided to focus on this chick named Jessica. The brunette was sitting in a couch with some friends, downing a beer. I knew her from a few intro classes, but for some weird reason I hadn’t dared to talk to her before.

Physically, she was not too bad. I guessed about 5’5, almost as tall as me. Cute smile. A bit chubby, perhaps, but at least she had pretty big tits. I secretly snapped a photo from the distance, making sure my flash was off, and uploaded it to the game. Almost immediately her profile came up, with some key information. “Jessica Adams. Student of chemical engineering. 22 years old. Single. No STDs. On the pill. Likes dancing. Rating 4/10.”

“OK, that will have to do for the first night,” I said to myself, and slipped down in the couch next to her, raising my bottle to get her attention. She raised hers back and clinked it into mine.

“You’re Jessica, right?” I said with a warm smile.

She returned it, but did look a bit puzzled.

“Yeah… how did you know?”

Mike,” I replied. “I think you’re in my organic chemistry class. You sit way out on the left near the windows.”

I was, in fact, not in her organic chemistry class.

She smiled hesitantly. “Umm…”

“Oh, I don’t mean to sound like a creep. It’s just that you always look like you're dreaming of being somewhere else!” I said with a smile. “Understandably so. That professor is so boring.”

“I knoooow!” she replied with a smile. “God, he’s the worst! Did you see the lecture when he-“

We continued talking about class for a while, bonding over the presumed common experience. I played along with her, nodding and smiling. Soon, she had forgotten all about her friends.

“Is it really this easy?” I thought. Time to step up my game.

“Oh, I love this song!” I said as the DJ did his unnecessary mix faded into the next monster hit. “Wanna dance?”

“Hell, yeah!” she beamed. “These geeks never want to dance!” she said out loud as we left the couch. In the corner of my eye, I could see the hateful eyes of my fellow nerds as I led her out to the relatively small dance floor. I noticed that she’d had a bit more to drink than me, but it wasn’t like she was drunk.

Surprisingly, we danced pretty well together. I didn’t usually dance, and at least not more than a few minutes before my self-consciousness got me, but this time there was none of that. It was probably due to the confidence and coolness boost. “You’re great, Jess!” I said. “You too, Mike!” she replied. I put my hand on her lower back and pulled her close. “I like you!” I said, and slowly, but confidently, I moved in for a kiss. She eagerly responded, and we shared a sloppy kiss that probably should have been performed behind closed doors.

When I pulled back, she was smiling. “It’s a bit crowded here, isn’t it?”

I nodded. “Wanna go get a drink somewhere else?”

Does she?
