Belongings Stolen

As Lauren trudged back to the car, she was pissed off, people like Lauren shouldn't be lumping big heavy bags around, as she got towards the car, her heart dropped, she had left it unlocked for someone to fetch her stuff for her and now her car door was wide open and all her camping gear, phone, washing accessories and change of clothes had gone.

Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Lauren forced herself to think rationally. First things first, she needed to inform her family. Swallowing her pride, she made her way back to the campsite, steeling herself for the inevitable barrage of angry questions for being so stupid, how was Lauren to know some lowlife was going to swoop in.

Lauren got back and told her mother her stuff had been stolen, as her family watched on, she seen her mum's face looks slightly angry, her eyes narrowed, her lips pressed together before she rolled her eyes up and said "And you left the car unlocked, didn't you?" she accused, her voice sounding utterly fed up and exhausted.

Lauren told her the truth and with a quick wave of the hand to dismiss Lauren, her mother said "right well since you have got no camping equipment you can stay with ......"
