"I see..." Ashley sighs, "So, we're gonna just... Sneak around."

"Yeah..." Ethan sighs, feeling the weight of the choice. "So, now what?"

"Now..." Ashley stands up, brushing down her skirt. "I need to walk home, and think about who I'm going to tell my sister I fucked."

Chuckling, Ethan shakes his head. "You have to give her a name?"

"She'll insist."

"Right..."

"And you should go see Sam."

Ethan raises a brow. "Huh?"

"Sam, Charlie brought her up last night." Ashley shrugs. "For a job."

"Oh..." Ethan winces, "I'm not really looking yet..."

Ashley frowns. "Just go talk to her. Tell her I sent you, not Charlie."

"Why?"

"She's my best friend?" Ashley shrugs. "You know that..."

'Do I?' Ethan thinks, not remembering at all.

"Either way, I'm out." Ashley walks towards the backdoor, her hips having a mesmerizing sway to them. "We should take it easy the next little bit, but I'll stop by when the cost is clear. See ya."

"See ya..."

Ashley slips out the backdoor, but not before blowing Ethan a kiss, which makes Ethan wish he knew exactly what a clear coast looked like.
